I had a blast! The idea of producing an animated series has been on my mind for a while The first time I tried using Adobe After Effects, I found it a chore since it's not really designed for the kind of animation I was looking for
4/5

Toon Boom Studio was also looked at and I tried the trial version, but I wasn't able to fully understand Compared to traditional hand drawn animators, it seems better. I then saw Anime Studio Pro 9 in a few YouTube tutorials, and it was on sale on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try. The 65 dollars were well spent! Even if I had just purchased the auto lip, that amount would have been easy for me to spend Synchronization alone is worth the price of admission! To use the audio track as the mouth reference for a switch layer, you simply import an audio track, make a switch layer for your mouths, and configure the switch layer to use that audio track. It takes seconds for your mouth movements to automatically be performed! This has saved me a lot of time, and rather than agonizing over every tiny mouth movement, I am actually excited to animate my project now instead of manually doing it. While the interface can be frustrating to use at first, it took some time to get used to it. As I'm learning bone rigging, I still have a long way to go. Ensure you do all the scene and character set up on FRAME 0. In spite of repeated reminders, I always forget to do it There are a lot of tutorials on the SmithMicro site and on YouTube to help you get I am very happy with the app and am using it with great pleasure. A few bugs are present here and there, plus some crashes and some unexpected behavior from time to time. It does, however, have an auto-recovery feature which usually brings you back to the point where you left off if it crashes. Registration and updating to version 9 are required. If you install 2 from the website, you will be prompted to enter your password. The fix cleared up a few issues I was experiencing. A great feature of the Library is the ability to create books. My favorite feature is the ability to setup characters and scenes and then import them when I need them again. Reduces the steps by a great deal. As well as recording common actions like walking or blinking, you can reference those on your main timeline to reuse over and over again. The game has a pseudo 3D environment that makes scenes look very realistic, as well as some physics elements that I haven't yet explored. It's still a work in progress, but I'm trying to master the layers and layers of depth. You have several options when it comes to fields. Anime Studio allows you to import 3D objects and scenes from other programs such as Blender and Poser, or to create simple objects. It's a great software and I'd recommend it to anyone! I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, I really like Those with a limited budget may want to consider Illustrator, video editing software, or other keyframe animation software, but if in doubt, check YouTube for some tutorials to get a feel for whether or not it is suitable. As well, a Wacom tablet would be an excellent purchase! The points and shapes can be drawn more easily with this program. Usually, you would use a mouse, but you could do it with a tablet instead.

The benefits of the Adobe licensing program saved me from the horrors of Adobe
5/5

The hassle of having to go to Adobe for a license I paid (too much) for to reinstall my graphics software just got a little tiresome, so I decided to look for alternative animation software myself. Thanks for asking! I am so happy I did it. Aside from just about everything else, the animation tools in Anime Pro are FAR superior to Flash. It is invaluable to have the bone feature. You will have some learning curve because the interface is not quite intuitive. Nevertheless, a simple Saturday or Sunday session, a few tutorials and some time spent on it over a cup of coffee or tea should alleviate that issue. For me to finally connect with this, I had to sit with it alone for some time. Since then, I have been able to create animations more quickly than I was able to do There are not enough words I can use to emphasize that. The upgrade doesn't require me to call them every time I need to reinstall it. Wow, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The sigh of free will! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!.

Unless you don't know what you're doing, it is fantastic
3/5

After my initial attempt at learning this program, I spent a lot of time reading online tutorials. Since I have only taken a few computer classes in my life, I am not at all Although the learning curve still felt steep, it was still a bit of a challenge. My first impression of the program was that it had some very nice sample cartoons, but I wasn't capable of creating anything like the ones displayed in it. I would recommend this program to anyone who has plenty of time to spare. It is just impossible to imagine all the possibilities. aren't very adept with computers, perhaps you should start with a program that is a bit more restrictive so you don't have to take in so much information.

It's not everyday that you come across great software at an amazing price
5/5

Only a month ago I came across Anime Studio Pro and was amazed by the low price it's being sold for The reviews I read were mixed, with some praising and some expressing disapproval due to the steep learning curve. In the end, I purchased it because the price was just too attractive.

I'm a graphic designer and I'm very knowledgeable about programs like Photoshop and Illustrator. Despite my interest in animation, I lack experience in the field. After a week of learning this software, I found it to be rather frustrating. If you are used to drawing programs such as Adobe Illustrator, the drawing tools and navigation are quite counterintuitive. After I purchased this software one month ago, I created a video that lasted for three minutes, and my colleagues were all very impressed. Despite the fact that I still have much to learn, I can now see the potential of what this software can do. In summary, this is an extremely good piece of software and the price is very attractive. Through bone rigging of vector drawings or pictures (similar to Flash), you are able to create very nice looking animations. You still can achieve great results with it. Though it has its limitations, creativity shows great promise.

I find it to be the worst animation program
3/5

This is something I hate. There is nothing to this program. When it comes to importing, working with the timeline, and creating scenes, it is extremely limited. It is the worse part when they say they will let you import AI files ( aka outside vector artwork ) in the instructions and when using the program itself. I wish you the best of luck. In order for the program to work, you must incorporate your own artwork. I'll leave you with one more fun fact- What is the reason for the lack of layers? In my opinion, this interface was conceived in a way that is beyond frustrating. The bottom line is this. This is not a good buy. It seems like they give out these craptacular older versions for free as soon as they release a new version. Still, I wouldn't bother even if they give it to you for FREE.
