Despite my best efforts, my Windows 10 desktop could not run it. Therefore, I would guess that it would not work on your Win n 10 laptop as well. might be a way to do it, but it would involve more than just installing the game for the first time.
It will work if you run a virtual machine on Windows 7. The only downside to this is that you must know very well how computers work
I did not have any luck with this game on OS 10, and I believe they've already updated at least two others since then. If you ask me, I will answer in the negative.
Although I'm not sure why it isn't working with my Toshiba Satellite running Windows 7 it indicated that it is too Based on some research, if your machine was made after 1997, you will not be able to use this

I am asking for a full refund. During this COVID condition, it's a late school night, so I thought a surprise Carmen Sandiego would be nice. However, I don't have any Carmen Sandiego games. The experience wasn't good because I can't make the CD work no matter what I do for the past hour and a half. In order to double check, I did the following As of this writing, the complaint remains open. If you are interested in purchasing, I urge you to do so. Don't do that! There are plenty of other options.
There have been many changes to the game. It is not knowledge that drives progress through these cases anymore, but My daughter found it not to be very interesting, and she came to an end shortly after starting. While I stuck with it a little longer in hopes of seeing if it could grow interesting with more challenging cases, I eventually gave up too. There seems to be a dumbed down version of this new release. It is at best boring. Observing what had happened to the original games, I wanted to understand what had happened to them. It became clear on Wikipedia what was going on. After producing the original game series, all multiple prize winners, the company sold the games to another company, who changed the name to what it is today and did not bother to rewrite. Such a pathetic form of There is another major issue with the program it is not easy to install. Only one of four computers, all upgraded to XP, took it cleanly, the one that I don't really use anymore, and it's the oldest and slowest of the lot. a bit of work, I was able to get it installed on another one, but it crashed frequently. Investigating the problem, it seemed that there were others who were experiencing the same issue. It would seem like by now it would be possible to work out the bugs in a 20 year old program. The product ended up being returned to me.
My daughter loved the gift and I was happy to give it to her.
CD could not be opened, so I had to return it. We also purchased the Oregon Trail game from this same computer, which worked fine.
It's an old game and it's old Played on my computer but not on my phone. Back in the day, the show was a favorite of mine. The game was one that I loved when I was her age, so I wanted my daughter to play it as well. It doesn't seem to have worked Sad, sad, sad.
Play this game no matter what your age or generation is! I am pleased with my purchase. It arrived right on time and in excellent condition. My wife and I are very happy with the purchase and are glad that we I'm so grateful to Amazon for your help. We appreciate the great price, the good value, and the prompt delivery provided by . The item I'm using frequently is very useful to me.
Don't be misled by all the warnings. As most people don't know how to change their program settings to be compatible off the bat, everyone assumes it just doesn't work and assumes that there must be a problem of some sort. One review here discusses how to make it work in XP, or you can (after installing the game) right click the icon in Vista, select "Properties", then "Compatibility," and set the game to run in 256 colors at 640x480 My crashes have stopped since I've implemented this, and the game is now running in full screen. Game-wise, the game is good, though I do not understand why it is a "school" version that I purchased for home. I recommend the game, and I plan on getting Where in the World after my children are done playing this one. The only major difference in the style of the game from when I was a kid is that there is no reference book to accompany it instead it is a search engine inside the game. I have been having terribly bad luck with this program on my Gateway desktop running Windows 7. It crashes and works badly. Installation of the following was uninstalled.
It was a game I had from when I was a kid on an older My kids enjoyed the cartoons, so I thought they would enjoy this as well. When they first try it, they enjoy it, then they become bored but then come back to it later. It's just my way of getting them to have a little fun while learning.
