Both of my kids want to do Would I need to purchase two laptops in order to download to both of their laptops?

Roller Coaster Tycoon needs to be installed on both laptops, since the disc has to be in the laptops when they want to play it.

What about Windows 10? Does it work? Can some old PC games not be played on a newer computer?

In short, yes. This is applicable to Windows XP or later.

When I first turn on the game it is all big like I'm in safemode, then it goes back to normal. I love this game and it works great, my only issue is when I turn it on it is all big like I'm in safe mode.

Quite a fun game from a long time ago! Despite being a bit dated and old, this game is still one of my favorites! It was fun to play with my kids, and it taught them simple physics, money management, planning, and logistics (although I played it too! As I didn't realize it was still in stock, I'm grabbing it and going to use it on my older laptop (XP) for my younger kids, who aren't old enough to play yet

This game doesn't have spectacular graphics, but from what I can tell, that's not its point. As we liked this version so much, we purchased RCT 2 and 3 and were not as pleased with them. Although the graphics are better, the control you had with the first version has been taken away.
