Questions & Answers

What are your strategies for saving money?

I don't recall being able to save any of these games at any point. It makes me very sad that this memory has been resurrected. The games were no longer playable after we upgraded our computers. They were a lot of fun, and the new ones aren't as much.

What is the difference between the old and new versions of the I spy game? I see these I spy games for sale listed as "Older Version." Some listings make no distinction between old and new items. ?

I believe it is determined by the operating system you are using. We still have the older versions, and they work fine on our recent upgrade to Vista, but there are a few glitches that didn't exist when we were running Windows 98.

We've only recently discovered these hidden object games, and we've fallen in love with them! Remember the hidden picture puzzles in Highlites For Children magazine? Well, there are plenty of them in these games
5/5

br>br>I came across a free-to-use computer program. My 36-year-old son and I tried out the trial version of the PC game Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst (at Arcadetown). This was a game that my visiting son and I became addicted to. He took a vacation day to miss work the next day because I couldn't persuade him to go home and sleep; all he had to do was finish the game first!br>br>Since then, I've purchased MCF: MCF Ravenhearst Ravenhearst Ravenhearst Ravenhearst Ravenhear Huntsville, Little Shop Of Treasures, and the three top-rated cities in the United States I Spy Fantasy, I Spy Spooky Mansion, and I Spy Treasure Hunt are among the rated XP compatible I Spy games. My five-year-old son is a good example of this. These games are a lot of fun for my 10-year-old granddaughter and me! br>br>The graphics and sounds are fantastic, and I especially enjoy the little animations that appear when you click on certain objects! In the I Spy games, the Ryhmes are both adorable and educational, assisting with reading, learning new words, and identifying new objects all while having fun. br>br>I heartily recommend the I Spy games to kids (and adults who enjoy a stress-free game). (This is a free game. ).

In our house, this is a favorite
5/5

This game has quickly become my son's favorite (despite the fact that he is only three years old). a child of five years). We (parents) have to play it with him because there are some items he doesn't recognize (for example, a chess horse), but he can also find things that we can't! After playing it for a while, he's getting a lot better at it, but my husband and I noticed that each of the three games appears to have only three levels, and then it repeats itself. Even if this is the case, I think the game is fantastic. It forces you to pay serious attention to a screen full of information; my son is doing exceptionally well with item recognition, and he especially enjoys defeating the dragon in the knights game (though he did wonder why we didn't follow the rocket ship when it took off in the rocket game). I believe there is too much Zathura). I've already bought him another I Spy (Treasure Island) for his birthday (because he's a pirate fan!). This is one of those books that you'll want to keep.

The whole family will have a good time
5/5

While it may be relatively simple for adults to locate the photographs, it is a lot of fun to watch my 5-year-old daughter do so. She is ecstatic when she has completed all of the pictures and is able to decipher the clues for the screens. For your convenience, I've included a game layout: An aquarium, a sand castle, and outer space are among the three options. Each section has a goal; for example, in the sandcastle, you must find the pictures in each room to be "awarded" a key; once you have enough keys, you can unlock the princess from the dungeon, after gathering an item from each room to make a potion to defeat a dragon. At least 6 "I spy" rooms can be found in each section. Don't worry if your child can't read yet; if you hover your mouse over the words at the bottom and click, a voice will tell you which item to look for. You can save and return to your games, and there is enough room for multiple players to save at the same time. I'm hoping to get more "I Spy" books in the future. Enjoy!.

For my kids, this is a fantastic challenge

Nothing makes my kids happier than finding something they've been looking for. It can be difficult, but it's well worth it!.

The game is fantastic
4/5

I wished it could have gone on for a little longer! This game is enjoyed by all three of our children, ranging in age from 4 1/2 to 11. They enjoy searching for items and solving puzzles together. br>br>There are three different areas, each requiring the discovery of a specific number of items (much like the books). It is possible to replay the main quest for an area after completing it, but with a more difficult set of items to find. The third time through is the most difficult; after that, the area reverts to its previous state. br>br>The entire game took the kids about a week to finish. We wished there were more than three complexity levels, or that once you've completed the third, you could play any of them at your leisure. br>br>It was a lot of fun for all of us; we only wish it had lasted a little longer!.

The piece is brief but sweet
4/5

I purchased this game as a reward for my son completing his homework without difficulty. I figured that rewarding him with a new computer game would help him stay on task while doing his homework. It did, and because he'd read the I Spy books before, he immediately picked up this game and began playing it by himself. (He's 7. He enjoyed this game, and homework time became easier as he realized that he could only play if he completed his homework without becoming distracted or causing problems for his mother and me. The only issue is that the game is far too short; we only allowed our son to play for 30 minutes at a time, and he finished it in a matter of days. He completed the game a few more times (the difficulty level increases as you progress through the game). After a few times throughs, however, he became bored with it. Overall, this is a very enjoyable and interesting game that unfortunately does not last long enough. However, the cost was low enough that I didn't think it was a waste of money.

Despite the fact that the game is enjoyable, the experience is not

After talking with my friends about how much we used to enjoy this game as kids, I decided to purchase it. The game, however, does not work on MAC, as advertised, and since my friends and I only have MACs, it is useless.

All ages will have a great time with this game
5/5

Over the last three years, I've purchased over 30 computer games for my 4-and-a-half-year-old son. I have to say, out of all the games I've played so far, this one has the best graphics. My son has loved I Spy books since he was just a year old (at first, the board book version). I was worried that the game would fall short of his expectations. That, and a lot more, was the case. I get bored watching him play his other computer games from time to time, but this one allows me to actively participate. I even put it on my office computer so I could play it when I had some downtime. It's also great for expanding their vocabulary.
