It is my understanding that is the case. The only computer we use at home is a Mac, so it must work. I bought it a long time ago. It is possible that they also have a Mac and PC version.

My experience is that even though the games offered in the program are marketed as being for kids of a certain age, they are not appropriate for beginners. I have found Jumpstart Typing to be an excellent starting program for even my youngest son since it matches their level and grows more challenging as they become more proficient.
I tried to run Go window 7 but everything was upside down. About a decade ago, I taught our three oldest grandchildren to type using Go. (who are now in college) thank that game for that.
The two boys I have are 7 and 9 years old and could benefit from touch typing lessons. This program was purchased and we used it over Christmas vacation, but then we did not use it again. For my daughter, age 8, I bought the most recent typing tutorial, Jump Start Typing, based on her enjoyment and success with Jump Start grade school, but undecided about whether she was ready to learn to type. immensely relieved when I saw her after one sitting, at the keyboard, her hands in the proper position, typing 3 words per minute, and clearly enjoying herself.
