It should be stated on the box that it is delivered in. To find out more about the product, I used Google. I had Windows 7 installed on my computer when I used the jump start programs.

All of the statistics for what you'll need on your computer are listed in the amazon product description. Usually, it's near the bottom of the product description. You can also look up the name of the company that provides jumpstart services on the internet. My son is 14 now, so I haven't used it in years, but all of the jump start programs are fantastic!

This game is so much fun! When I was younger, I used to play it all the time. I now own a fully loaded gaming laptop, so I bought it for my son to use. This game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm pretty sure it's not my computer, so it's got to be the disc.

It works without the use of the internet

Perfect for a grandchild who needs to be on the computer all the time; we simply hooked up our old computer (which had no internet) and let her play. It's entertaining while also being instructive.

It's a lot of fun to play Jump Start Explorers

My youngest child is six years old. This is a game he plays with his younger brother, who is four years old. He's picked up a lot of new information about the various locations he visits in the software. Most importantly, they enjoy the crafts they are able to create. It appears that you are rewarded for your efforts. After that, depending on how many points you have, you can earn crafts to do that are related to the places you've visited. This is one of their favorite games to play. They've told me a lot about Egypt, China, the Antarctic, and other places they've visited as part of the program.

For the Kindergarten set, this is fantastic software

This was bought for our five-year-old daughter. It's a big hit with the twins, who are nine years old. It's entertaining and educational, with a wide range of activities, music videos (Echo Location is the most popular among the Kindergarten Set), and printed projects. This is a program that I would strongly recommend.

Recommendation: ten out of ten My kids were always ahead of their class when I used all of the jump start series when they were younger, before the pay by month service was introduced
