Questions & Answers

Version 6 of Pos is currently running on my computer. The 2011 version of QuickBooks Premier Retail was 0 with Quickbooks. Is this something I can use to upgrade my PO?

Yes, I do! That's what you can do. Ideally, you want your computer to be upgraded

Are there plans for Windows 10 compatibility with this version?

Greetings, Nancy. Thank you for your inquiry. Windows 10 will be able to run the QuickBooks Point of Sale v12 (2015). The A+ Sales Central A+ 800. Peter Williams.

The current state of my workstations is version 9. I have zero professional experience. The number of users needs to be increased by 2. Do I buy 6 of these or can I upgrade my 4 computers using only one of them?

Hello, you will only be able to upgrade the 4 you are using with that.

POS 6 is the one I have. Do I have to find the key used to install Version 0. O basic, can I use the license number that shows up in Pos, or do I have to use the license number from Pos?

My name is Debbie and I would like to thank In order to receive Upgrade pricing you need only have your serial number in the program, and the upgrade price is determined based on your license number. The QuickBooks POS version 6 CD will be required to complete the conversion if you are installing the update on a computer that does not currently have QuickBooks POS v6 installed. Due to the fact that it is from an older version, the data file sometimes does not convert well. In case you need our help with the conversion, we can do it for a fee. The A+ Sales Central A+ 800. It is okay to use the software Designed to work with Windows 10 Take care when it comes to hardware bait - It's a bait-and-switch
3/5

QuickBooks POS version 10 had been set up for me previously. I have been using 0 on two registers for about four years, and I am It was so good that I recommended it to others as well. I had a few small glitches, but in the end I was pleased. It was then that EMV was introduced. Around the middle of 2015, I was notified by Intuit Merchant Services that I would be required to swap out my two expensive Ingenico i6580 pin-based Pads with a chip reader and a signature reader Pads with less than a signature of IPP350 can be captured It would only be possible to capture EMV data on IPP350s The i6580 wasn't going to be supported anymore, because it wasn't compliant. The company sent me two IPP350s and I offered my fancier pads to take their place. The trade downgraded, but at least I did not have to pay for it. The deadline for EMV to be implemented on 10/1/15 has come and gone. The EMV payment method continues to be unavailable It is unclear that IMS will extend their liability beyond I was then told in April 2016 I must upgrade to POS 12 when they again extended until August. Eventually, I began receiving emails telling me to upgrade in May 2016. Zero to be an EMV-enabled device This means complying. My finger was in the wound I had two revisions ago, and I wanted to upgrade the registers to Windows 10, so I guess that was fair to me My order for 12 was for two copies. Through Amazon, you will earn 0 points. I found the installation process to be a little challenging Although the software didn't realize that IMS had changed my account number, the company insisted that I do so We sent an email with instructions for installing the software- We found and fixed some gremlins, but still couldn't see chip cards. My computer was showing incorrect dates and references to screens that were not there. Tech support helped us fix those, but we could not see the chips. In 12. 2, I didn't see much in the way of new features. A total of 0 over 10 is acceptable. The software didn't seem to affect any of the way I use it, but it didn't seem to break any things that were already working, and the interface seemed to stay familiar enough that I didn't have to recalibrate It is my responsibility to train my sales representatives. Two weeks later, the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 was smooth, and POS did not seem to be bothered by it. By the end of the day, I was at least up $1080 As of that date, IMS was in the driver's seat when it came to EMV. At one point, while speaking to an IMS tech, he told me that there were still a couple of things which needed to be worked out on their end before EMV and chip cards would work. There are two upgrades that could be offered for free. In the other case, a firmware upgrade might be required to the pin pads of the IPP350. When he thought about it, if that were the case, they might do the same thing The swapping and replacing of old pads Update the firmware on your new laptop You can get firmware pads for your laptops. I see I appreciate your explanation. We have had no unexpected development issues and it has been relatively easy to switch our hardware and send back our old ones. Then they could redo it Swap them, then flash them and send them off to someone else. I called IMS on 8/3/16, after not hearing anything from them continuing the matter, and seeing on their website that they covered liability only until 8/15/16, to find out what I needed to do to obtain the My pens gave out here in time. THIS IS WHERE I LOST THEM. I was told that even though I had initially bought TWO more expensive pin pads, then swapped them to IMS for TWO IPP350 pin pads, they would only send me ONE new pin pad. This software would only work with a pad that could actually perform the functions. My second pin pad would have to be paid for as well if I wanted both of my registers to work I had to throw away one full set of register hardware and the $540 license I just bought for POS 12 unless I wanted to do it. I’m now waiting for a supervisor to call me back about why I will be given ONE pin pad instead of TWO I had originally ordered While I'm searching for a reputable provider of merchant services that doesn't bait and switch, I've started looking for other merchant service providers It's a bait-and-switch. A quick update Several days have passed since then I never heard back from my supervisor Arrived at work an hour early so I could talk again. Things have been resolved now and I don't have to open until 6 p. m. An offshore operator told me their file notes showed a supervisor had tried to call, but the line was already This is a cell phone number that does not display 'busy' when called, goes to voicemail and shows up to her Neither a voicemail nor a missed call was left. I was told I could only order more pin pads from them, but she ignored that. The supervisor allegedly said there could only be one free pin pad I again asked for a supervisor, hoping to get someone stateside got an offshore supervisor who again 'explained' that there could only be Only ONE PAD would be given to each merchant account, and not ONE PAD for each hardware/software installation. As a result POS 12 is a fantastic product, so buy it! If you DO NOT use Intuit Merchant Services, or if you do not have more than one register, it will be 0.

With regards to the new "features" such as improved speed and being able to link with a third party
3/5

My old version of 10 has been upgraded to 11. There is a Pro version of 0. My experience has been less than smooth since the update. After upgrading, my receipt printer was not working properly, and I have been on the phone with Intuit for a week and still can't accept credit cards. If you are updating so you can accept chip cards, you should not Intuit has told me that this software will soon be compatible with chip readers, but I have not received any information to support that claim. far as the new "features" like improvements in speed and the ability to link a mobile device, I have not noticed any changes. My mobile is not working either, which is very unfortunate as it would have been handy to have a backup cash register while I work out all the bugs. My 10 were all taken by Intuit, as far as I can see. My merchant account is now incompatible with the 0 version because it moved the buttons and made it incompatible with my merchant account.

It was not possible to install the software since the license number and product numbers were not included in the disk. The money was a waste!.

Though I had a large amount of knowledge, it was quite easy to switch to the newer version
4/5

Despite going from version 4 to 12, the transition to the new version was very easy. However, the areas I use for ordering stock have been downgraded, so I am happy about improvements to the majority of the functionality.
