To proceed with the State, Intuit required $39. I had already inserted all of the Federal data starting the State would have taken an additional $39. My search result shows that I could order the Federal data independently online through Amazon for less and trust that it will use the State data I've already entered. It was my fault for not carefully reading, but now I'm wary of.

You need to take responsibility for this! It is clear that the person who built the Amazon listing with this 'Amazon Exclusive for TurboTax 2019' intended to mislead consumers. The listing made it appear to be a good deal, so I bought it during the Black Friday sales event. In their listing, the deal mentioned that it was $10 off regular price and that they were including a 10 dollar Amazon gift card. Based on the listing, a reasonable person would interpret it as a bonus or a rebate, but in actuality, it was not. As soon as I checked my credit card statement I realized they had charged me for the Amazon gift card. That was a purposely misleading A quick update In the early hours of today, the listing with the gift card was still displayed on Amazon's website, but it has now been taken down.

A copy of the book was purchased The only time I have used TurboTax online has been when I changed computers. I have never used TurboTax in conjunction with Internet access and have always filed paper taxes. The company will not allow you to register this year without an online account with Intuit. Intuit now requires that you be online to use the software, which I believe is a move to protect your data. I have not registered and may return the product. The information I provide to Intuit about my return should not be shared with the company. I should also mention. In regards to this topic, there is no where to find help.

As opposed to past versions, the new software comes with a CD that those without internet access might need to install the software, which according to the insert is one of two ways to enable the software to run. THE CD DOES NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE INSTALLING INTEUITLY TAKING THE SETUP BUTTON AS A TICK. It instead attempts to connect to a server administered by Intuit that installs its software through the Internet. This CD is fraudulent and false marketing, since the software cannot be installed from the CD and Intuit does not provide customer support access in order to resolve it. It is making us look like fools by claiming that we must have Internet access in order for us to use the product! Do not buy Turbotax software unless you have internet access already installed and are already paying for it. BOYCOTT INTUIT PRODUCTS. If this is not the case, it is a waste of your money!.

Turbo Tax is the only tax program I use because I have been using it for many years and will never give it 5 stars. Since my state offers a free website, which imports Federal forms (Forms A, B, D, etc. ) I do not need to have state filing since I only need to fill out about five The $19 does not need to be paid. I would like to pay you $99. Last year, I used the same program, and when I had finished my federal filing, the app asked if I wanted to purchase the state filing as well. Moreover, updates were provided for the federal level as well as state level. I don't know if this option is available with this program because the initial update was only for federal users. After installing the CD, it took two tries to get it to register on my computer, but once it did, it loaded nicely, although a bit slower than I expected. When I ran the program after installation, it asked me if I wanted to update. Despite the time shown as 16 minutes, I was finished in a couple of In light of the fact that it's far before the tax filing season, I don't know how much information I might be able to enter for tax year 2019. Following the update, an activation code was asked for. My taxes were promptly prepared after I provided all the information the program asked for. It then found my previous returns from 2018 and seamlessly imported them. It has the advantage of being easy to use and convenient. The same happened to me when I bought the software on Black Friday. They said it would cost a certain amount and I would also get a gift card worth $10. Isn't that a great deal? I didn't notice they charged $10 for the gift card, and then they said they were only charging $10. When I returned the gift card, I was told it was "too late. " If I want to use it again, I can just buy something with it. Of course there was a price to pay, but it was my own. In an Amazon statement, they noted the deal was "written up by turbo tax, not an amazon deal". Wow, that's interesting.
