Questions & Answers

Are two American Guinea Pigs going to fit in it?

There is a need for floor space instead of height for Guinea pigs. They could suffer major consequences if they were to drop from a platform. Take a look at C&ampD It doesn't matter whether it is a C cage or a

In the event that this is not to your satisfaction, can it be returned?

You are right, I am

Is it possible to take the removable tray and use it in the cage itself to protect feet and legs if we were to use this cage for Guinea Pigs?

The bottom of the cage should be covered with a carpet pad that can be found at a hardware store or building supply store. This is what I use for a rabbit, but she is litter box trained so does not waste on carpet. Although I am not sure if hens can be trained the same way, guinea pigs certainly can. It may be difficult for the pigs to keep their balance on the plastic tray surfaces that are slippery.

Can 2 Guinea pigs be safely housed in this way?

Buying this for our guinea pigs was a great buy. It took one hour for one of the guinea pigs to become stuck in the grates. Tomorrow, the leg of the patient will be amputated. Buying is not a good idea. There is no escape from this

A part of my Guinea Pig's back leg is broken
3/5

Even though the cage was easy to assemble, the metal is bent out of place and is actually very flimsy, the grates holes are too large for animals smaller than rabbits, and the cage is not easy to clean. It's not just that my bedding falls straight through, but both of my Guinea pigs' back legs are broken. Do not recommend using this product on small animals.

I took a chance and it worked out! It is fantastic for adult rats, but I heard some mixed reviews for it
5/5

Since Amazon is good with returns, I decided I would take a chance and I am so happy with it, and my little bubs are too! We need to add more toys to it. Here are a couple of things that scared me in other reviews first, let me talk about the things that scared me You're not alone There is a fall in the ramps I am so far satisfied with the quality of my ramps, and they are well-placed. The ramps did need some finagling to get them in place correctly, so I think people may have had problems with them coming loose and falling. We will be updating if things change, but I am confident for now! I am
You're not alone A pet falls and is injured Cages such as this one are definitely for climbing animals. I have seen pets fall down and suffered injuries, so that is something to be cautious about. LOL, I don't recommend this product for animals that aren't agile, or who aren't extremely durable, but thankfully my rats are excellent at I am
You're not alone Injuries to the legs or feet It almost scared me off when people's pets suffered injuries almost at the bottom of the stairs because of the broken legs and wounded feet. Having removed the grate from mine (it's designed to be removable) and plan to use it only when removing the bin to change their bedding, I don't think I'll need it anymore. Rat owners will also benefit from the fact that their basin becomes VERY deep, so they can store plenty of stuff for burrowing animals. I am
You're not alone In babies There are about an inch apart between the bars on this cage, so if you are a pack owner who wants to add young/baby rats, you probably will not want to buy this cage. I found my average size female rats to be the perfect size to handle. You're not alone Those who eat Those who have pets that chew may not want to purchase this cage. I chewed out of plastic cages after playing around with them lazily for some months, and I haven't found it easy to clean metal cages. Having decided to replace mine every six months, I now know that I'll have to purchase a new one. In any case, there is a shorter, cheaper version of this cage that I will be able to purchase to replace the base when it becomes necessary. Please note
You're not alone There are two types of bar While the horizontal spacing of the bars is a little bit far for rats to climb, they are gradually adapting to it. Despite this, we had a few falls early on. I have no more negatives to add I will now move onto the things I like! You're not alone It's amazing how colors work together! I am
You're not alone Platforms made of plastic are easy to remove and clean
You're not alone Doorways are so big, I can stick my entire head through them o_o> You're not alone It's a game changer to remove the litter drawer, I tell you! I am
You're not alone The latching mechanism for the door is very secure.

This is because my bunny will not stay in his pen we bought it as a result. I helped my husband assemble it, and he said it was fairly simple. From the moment he opened the box until he was done, it took him 15 minutes. Wire structure is sturdy, but the rests and "steps" made of plastic are a bit light in weight. The plastic door for the cage also served as the ramp for the bunny. Hence, he had some difficulty getting into the cage. Despite many attempts to purchase, he was not successful. It was raised a bit by putting a few books underneath and then a towel on top, he could then It appears that he does not like to walk or hop on the plastic, so he hasn't climbed to the top perch yet. The system has served our needs so far, but I am unsure as to how well it will hold up in the long run.

The price is more than worth it! Here I am
5/5

A new ferret has been given a cage like this. I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble the cage. As far as the cage is concerned, I am pleasantly surprised with its durability. It surprised me to discover that the plastic parts are really well made, as I expected them to feel cheap. This product has smooth edges and none of its imperfections are sharp. Ramps were the only thing that caused me trouble when assembling it. For some reason, it wasn't easy to snap the platforms into place. It was an error on the part of the user. There is a deep bottom in my cage, so I know that none of my ferrets' waste ends up outside. A small issue with the clear door is that it is a bit It's very easy for my ferret to work her way up and down the stairs with a door open, as she is still a baby so maybe in time she will not have any problems. All in all, this is a very nice cage, and I am quite happy with it. The ferret seems to enjoy her new toy very much as well, and has claimed it on her own many times today to take.

My rack would have been better if I had purchased it from the beginning
5/5

My ferrets love it, it's easy to put together, and both look great. Their previous cage had two ramps, but this cage is much larger and more spacious. The bottoms are removable, I stuffed one side with a bunch of bedding, and my kids love them. There is a ramp formed by the door that goes down, it's kind of steep, but no one can say it doesn't exist. I liked how the bottom is high so I won't spill anything when I go to the bathroom. In my opinion, and in the opinion of the fur boys, this cage is really nice. Two ferrets can be accommodated in this cage.

The environment is hazardous and it is difficult to return the Guinea Pigs
3/5

It is with total certainty NOT suitable for small animal pets, such as guinea pigs. This is because the seller shows a guinea pig in the photo descriptions. There is a danger of grate holes being as large as they are in this area, and the ramps have little grip and are not as wide as they appear. After seeing this, I didn't even attempt to climb the ramps. A commenter mentioned having sustained a serious injury due to this cage, which I see now has been added to the post. Apparently, the return will be at my expense, so this will be a costly mistake on my part, despite the fact that it was due to a misleading description on their part. In my experience, I've never given a bad review before, but I need to make sure no one buys this for their cavy and end up getting injured.

I was delighted to learn that

The netherlands dwarf bunny will absolutely love this. The cage he lives in is located in the living room, and he can get natural light through the window on the upper shelf. As we have a small home, we appreciate the small footprint of this cage and that it is not too cramped for him at the same time. A ramp door at the bottom means he can go in and out on his own, which is very convenient for him. There is a middle door in the cage, as well as a top door, so all the areas in the cage are easily accessible. It is very easy to assemble and stays sturdy and cleans easily. In the evening and while we're at work, he stays in his cage while we're at home, but runs around the house when we're home. It is the kind of music we love and think he does as well.

In addition to providing the animal with more space, this product appears to do a good job of reducing noise
4/5

A product that allows the animal to have more room seems like a good idea.
