There is an option to remove it. This being the case, we have multiple show rex rabbits and use these cages because the gauge of the wire on the floor, as well as the fact that the wire is coated, make it very easy for their feet to grip. In these cages, we have never experienced the development of sore hocks on a rabbit. Rarely do we find rabbits suffering from sore hocks on Rex. The soil here is hard pan clay I had one buck out there in a box on the grass and he developed sore hocks out there because the soil here is so hard. Once I placed him back in one of these cages, his skin began to heal, and now he is doing
You will not be able to make your bunny comfortable even if it can spread out. There won't be enough space for it to hop around much, as the wire floor will be rough to walk on. Getting an exercise pen instead of a cage would be a good idea (30 or 36 inches would be plenty). In addition to helping them to litter box train (I line a large cat litter box with newspaper and put hay on top), this will also help your rabbit to be more comfortable. Ensure that your bunny is getting enough exercise by letting it out!
Ferrets can be small or big, depending on their size. In the case of an average size ferret, this should be fine. In it I have kept rabbits and had no problems so I think it should be OK for a ferret.
This morning I measured Mr. Snug's cage for you, and the bars are exactly 1" apart, so it would be okay for an adult rat, but I think any babies would probably be able to squeeze The dual doors are the coolest part about my rabbit's new home, but it's an awesome habitat at any rate. Since my Old English Sheepdog wants to eat when I feed him, it's easy to avoid this problem since my second door is on top. I hope this is helpful

As it is, our family breeds meat rabbits for our own consumption, and for our breeding does, 10 in total, we use these cages in our farm. There are 12 lb rabbits there. There are smaller ones available at our local farm store that we did not like. This small nesting box gives us room to incorporate a feed bowl, a hay feeder, and a water bottle, but the rabbit still has room to move and doesn't quickly get overcrowded with babies, allowing her to raise them for longer periods of time. Because we hang them, there is no need to use the black tray underneath, and the wire floor is perfectly fine. We have a couple of these that we have used for years and they are still in good condition. However, they do rust where the wire joins, but they are.
I really liked the cage and it was easy to put together. Having ample space for a rabbit, a food / water dish, and a mat, it's a good deal for a Rex rabbit. I have found the pull out tray to be a lifesaver, and I don't feel it is flimsy at all. In addition, this cage has a door on the side and a door on top, so I can take her food and water in and out without really letting her out (most of the time she is out of her cage, we open it up in the morning and close it at night). My recommendation to anyone with a rabbit or a small dog who isn't permanently caged up would be to get this cage.
I've been using it for three years and I'm very pleased with it. An indoor Wabbitat condo is proving extremely popular with a 40lb American White doe rabbit. As you can see, this is a thoughtful- This product was designed 37 years ago Measurements in inches The wide rabbit cage I made or purchased is better than any hutch I've ever owned. Strong, easy-to-acess from the top, with a front door that opens and swings out from the top Besides doubling as a ramp, this also allows her to get in and out of the vehicle. This floor wire mesh has small spacing between the wires, giving a greater feeling of comfort over the durable and easy-to-clean floor mats Please remove - The plastic tray should be clean and easy to maintain In order to preserve her feet from getting wet or dirty, I place hay over the mesh for her to graze on Kitty litter can be sprinkled in the tray below to absorb odors and bacteria In order to divert frequent urine overspray, the urine guard included is good, but I decided to wrap roof flashing all the way around the inside of the cage to make it as leak-proof and strong as possible. Inside the cage, I used an Amazon box with a flap open on the front of the box as her hiding spot. Her hutch is also tall enough for her to just easily climb on top of that box and see the view from above.
The cage had been purchased from another source. My first impression of it left me wanting more, so I purchased it and shopped around for a better price. This is by far the best price I was able to find and well worth my In addition to having a nice size, I also like having room for my bunnies to move around. This cage works well for me on the inside, where the tray is easy to take out and clean. I also have larger outside cages, which are also good, but this one is great when we want to take the bunny indoors. extremely portable. It can be moved from one place to another very easily. Having a travel cage for your rabbit is a good idea if you are transporting him. In addition, the break down was easy and simple if you have to take apart the equipment. use a plastic mat that has holes in it that hooks nicely into this cage so that the rabbit can get off the wire. I have included a picture so you can see what it looks like. As long as the rabbit waste gets to the bottom, the mat lets it sink, and cleaning up is simple. Those who raise rabbits will certainly like this cage except that the holes are so large that a tiny kit (baby bunny) can fall through. I raise rabbits and the nesting box is large enough to allow the mother to stretch out and rest while the mother lies down. This was an easy fix for me because I added rabbit wire on the bottom side of the cage that is smaller so the babies are prevented from getting out of the cage. It is easy to take the cage inside since it fits under my husband's roof support. I would have preferred that the end had a door, but it's not a big deal if I made the place outside longer so that the side door faces I used woven people pads under the cage which are big enough to fit the cage and left over for urine collection where the cage is opened without a guard. The bottom line is this is a great deal, great for travel, and it can be used outdoors with a roof frame. Most rabbits can stretch out in there comfortably as it is large and spacious. If you try it, you may not be able to use it as a litter box, but you can try it and see. The nesting box is large enough for a nesting box made from scratch with plenty of room for the mother too. The cabin is too small for a mother and her litter once they are grown up. Clean up is easy since the tray can easily be removed. It is very easy to setup and take down. I like how it is built.
With a 1 on the small, we first have the medium. The Netherland dwarf weighs 9lb. There is a second, larger one called Satin angora, weighing 7 pounds, as follows I don't like how small the tray is. You have to clean along the bar in front of it, which pulls out all the bedding! The bottom grate is also impossible to clean. As a result, we are unable to use it for anything other than a litter box or sleeping area, and cleaning the wires under the bottom grate is just not feasible. It's awful to have urine in your system! Can we only use one corner of the cage? I mean, come on! Purchasing a rabbit cage from a vendor who sells rabbit supplies is the best idea.
Typically the pan fits almost to the edge, but this one fits almost to the edge, the farthest it has ever fit. It may be difficult to remove the little pan if it is not cleaned every day, as the pan is attached to a support wire that makes it difficult to remove without pushing things off. My favorite features are the latch and the floor mat. The latch is not my favorite, but it has not failed me in over 2 years, and I have purchased both the smaller and larger versions of the cage. You can set it up and take it down easily. You can remove the floor if you don't want it. I raised it to a higher wire. Getting urine guards for rabbits is a good idea. They are rabbits, hence they are furry. All cages would be affected by this. Then I go to the roofing section of the Home Depot and purchase an 8' length of metal rain guard and trim it to fit, so that the rain guard is consistent on three sides.
