It is an absolute nightmare to assemble. Although I read such reviews, until you experience it for yourself, you think "Oh, I'll be able to handle this just fine since I'm pretty good at this adulting stuff, bah, a bunny cage won't be the hill I die on!". Dear reader, that hill was almost the one where I died. There appears to be a fit issue with the long pieces on the sides. The reviewers say that it can be confusing how to line them up, and you have to be careful not to line them up in the wrong order. According to the diagram, my experience was that they lined up fine. With the click of a magic wand, it shows the "L" shaped protrusions going into the notches. The fact that one side didn't fit made me believe the other sides were also I slid it in fine, but I had difficulty seeing the back piece that should cover up the hole on the end. The problem is, I believed they sent the wrong piece, or it was defective, or I just couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. In order to get the instructions right, you had to push really, really hard. Like so hard that you called your ex-lover in desperation It is best if you called your husband to have him do it for your child that you bore together and hope he would take pity on her and help put together the rabbit cage you bought for her as a gift. It was easier after that to assemble the car. Although I have had it up one day, yet I am still unable to comment on the overall quality of the materials. As far as cages went, this was the largest we found and we hoped it would work out. In the end, it worked out perfectly! There's no doubt it will fit 3 full grown guinea pigs well. It might be a bit tight in the middle, but they're all let out every day so they'll be just fine. My dad took the kitme out of the box and gave it to me. I put it all together myself (except for some of the clip things were a little difficult to snap in). This is a really sturdy set, so we didn't need zip ties, which we had been afraid we would need! For as big as this cage is, the bottom is actually not heavy at all. A giant box delivered it to us, but none of the pieces were broken. mobile There is a possibility that Gus and Rhonda will have to share the perch, they both love it so incredibly A RECENT UPDATE Gus just moved in today, and everyone is doing well, still figuring out the pecking order and all that. It is a bit tight with all three (which I expected) but they are let out every day so it shouldn't be an issue. It has been about two weeks since we got the cage, and we're still obsessed with it! Because high sides have been used, there is hardly any bedding on the cage's outside. (And believe me, they have popcorned a lot! My pigs love this cage, and I would recommend it for anyone with piggies!.

I am absolutely in love with this cage and intend to keep it forever. Recently I moved to a bigger place, so I really wanted a cage that gave my two guinea pigs a bit more room to roam. Since I could not find a cage that looked as strong and durable and was reasonably priced, I gave this one a try. Furthermore, there was "Like New" unit in the Amazon warehouse that was available at a nice little discount, so even more reasons for me to buy it. Upon opening the box, it looked a bit intimidating, like something out of Lego Although it was a little tricky to put together (and I had to use a mallet to get a couple of the pieces together), I was thrilled with the final product. I love how much space there is, and my piggies love the extra hiding place underneath. As well as the walls being high, I really like the ceilings. My pigs run quite a bit, and they kick up bedding a lot, so there is a ring of debris around the cage once they start to run. As of now, the bedding has been kept in the cage (and they've already run a lot in their new area)! I gave the cage an incorrect condition score, which reduced its star value for me. I didn't mind the problems we encountered if they had been expected since the price cut was wonderful. The item "Used-" was purchased by me Described as "An apparently untouched item in perfect condition," Amazon's Like New status describes an item that appears to be untouched. The original packaging is intact and pristine, and it is completely free of signs of wear. While the protection wrapping may be missing, the original packaging is intact and pristine. You will find instructions in the document. A gift of this item would be appropriate. Although I was promised "pristine" and "untouched", what I received wasn't. I also noticed that although the wire top of the cage was still in its original clear packaging, the base of the cage had a few dings (see picture), and nearly everything inside the cage was coated with While the wear on the cage wasn't so bad that I sent it back, I did clean the base pieces before assembling the cage. However, I find the false advertising to be somewhat disappointing. Even so, the cage itself was exactly what I wanted, and I would definitely recommend it if you have multiple birds of a feather.
