Questions & Answers

Approximately how many scoops does the jar contain? The front says 600 servings but I'm not sure how many scoops there are. What is a serving, based on the scoop that came in mine?

The jar on which I keep the food says, 120 servings. The scoop is just a tiny bit bigger than my hand.

Do these probiotics have any sweeteners in them?

It does not work this way The prebiotic Inulin that is in the product does have a very slight sweet taste.

Is it best to store this in the refrigerator?

Typically, you do not have to keep this in the refrigerator *br>I give it to my two bunnies at least twice a week based on the instructions my Exotic Vet gave to me

What are the clinical studies that prove this helps with GI stasis? Could it be prevented by preventing it in the first place?

This seems to prevent the problem. As a result of not having given it during GI stasis while my bunnies were in it, I do not since I started giving my bunnies this supplement twice weekly, the bunnies have never been in GI stasis.

This scoop came in a variety of sizes

I first ordered the smaller size to see if it would work with my rabbits. I really like how this works. As soon as I started feeding this probiotic to my bunnies, they have not had the snuffles nor GI stasis. In addition they stopped urine spots, although at times, their poop pellets would not get into the litter box. The larger size probiotic also received three stars from me. I did not give it three stars because it was a bad product, but because of the discrepancy and the possible costly or fatal mistake that would be made if a rabbit owner were to first buy There is a vast difference in the size of the scoop included. According to the directions, there is only an indication of the amount of "scoop" based on the weight of the bunny, but not the metric measurement. Because rabbits' digestive systems are extremely sensitive, I couldn't imagine what may have happened if I had ordered the larger size probiotic and followed the directions for scooping and storing it as directed. In order for the larger size jar container to fit the correct size scoop, make sure that it has the larger size jar container's lid.

Based on a recommendation from my vet, I purchased this probiotic for my rabbits. It made a difference to what they dropped within a day or so after I started giving it to them daily. The hay or pellets can then be sprinkled with it. THE ONLY ITEM I HAVE EVER PURCHASED THAT SENT ME A HAND WRITTEN VIA POSTCARD THANKING ME FOR IT. I'll buy again without a doubt. The taste of the product was too bad for me to rate it. I regret it. The food looks delicious, though I can imagine.

* However, the digestive system of a rabbit is very delicate and complex. It is possible to get GI Stasis from stress or imbalance. It is hazardous more often than not. This probiotic, however, will boost their digestive system and ensure that they stay healthy for the long haul! As well as giving it to sick bunnies, I mix it with a Critical Care dose. By doing that, I know they are getting an additional tool that will benefit their health.
I would like to thank this company for creating this product.

I added it to the feed of some bunnies that had digestive issues and it helped them recover

I think this is a great preventative. I used it to prevent these issues from occurring in the future. When I was responding to extreme cases of eczema, I actually mixed some of the supplements into Critical Care, and for the rest, I just sprinkled them on the feed as instructed. It was clear to see that they got back on track as a result. Today, I take it on a daily basis as a preventative measure.

We used it for an elderly rabbit and it worked perfectly

The product did the trick in just four days for my old girl. The girl is ten years old Previously rescued from a farmer who couldn't put the pipe to her sweet head, this meat bunny is 12 years old. She was almost killed a few months ago after getting sick. She was elderly, so we kept her comfortable and mentally prepared for her passing, but I gave her a teaspoon of colloidal silver in her water bottle because I thought it would help. By the end of the fourth day, she was feeling She was eating, jumping again (she had started walking to the little box for longer and longer), twitching her ears, and paying attention to us. My heart sank when I heard that! She's a very sweet bun, having spent at least six years of her life in a wire cage with a block of wood on which to sit, and we want to keep her for a very long time. Hence, that's why she left behind a white, foamy residue following her antibiotic treatment. As she wasn't with her other waste, I didn't know even what end it came from. After researching why she would need a probiotic after her antibiotics, I came across this wonderful product. It has no odor, is easy to use, and she enjoys eating The uses of the product lasted for a few days before she developed the runs, but now she is completely fine. Obviously, she's slowing down, but she's not sick and she says that the wonderful stuff is partly to blame for her slowing down. Your kind words are much appreciated!.

as she also loved tasting them each day when sprinkled over her food, we just sprinkled some on her food. She was on antibiotics, and we were concerned about her gut health as well as all the things that are affected by it. It would be my first choice if I needed to use it again.

It's been about a month and a half since he was really sick. Antibiotics have been the focus of his treatment for over a month, and will continue to be for approximately a month more. Because he is on so many medications, I am worried about his gut and digestion. He was barely eating or pooping, and I noticed that he wasn't eating. Thank you, Amazon, for letting me know about this! His appetite has returned as well as his love for the taste. Besides hay and pellets, I sprinkle it on his feed. Besides its odorless nature, it also has no taste. It only took a day for me to notice a difference in him. He will continue to receive this for a long time to come.

There is a noticeable difference

Probiotics aren't always easy to come by, but I'm exceedingly pleased with this one. As a preventive measure, I administer my rabbits probiotics. Keep your body from falling into a state of stasis. The fact that it is specifically formulated for rabbits has caught my attention. I have also found it to have 15 strains of bacteria, compared to just seven strains in the more popular brand I was using earlier. The difference between this one and the other is apparent. There are times when I catch a little cold from my big rabbit. In comparison with the other probiotic, this one is much more effective at getting rid of them. The measurements are so easy as well. Contains a little scoop and directions on how to use it. In recent years, I have sprinkled it directly onto the pellets and they assimilate it well. Lots of the other product I was using would sink to the bottom of the bowl so I sprinkled it on wet leafy greens which was more.
