It's also fantastic to have a tool that cleans up easily for me! It's fantastic! My only concern recently has been that the handle is starting to turn a little when brushing our girl, so I simply turn it back to its original position.
This brush is not for a small dog; my pomapoo is 3 1/2 months old and weighs 2 pounds. The brush is as big as she is; it was my fault for not paying attention to the brush's size. The teeth are sharp but have a coating of small balls on the end. The retractable teeth are great for easily cleaning the hair, but I can't use the brush, and I threw away the packaging, so I can't return it.
