This brush may appear to be a simple pin brush, but it outperforms even the most expensive ones. The long pins brush the coat all the way down to the root without ripping or breaking it. Makes the coat appear more full by fluffing it up. Even when brushing for a long time, the handle's weight and shape make it easy on the hand.
With the little rounded balls on the tips, I was using a more expensive brand. It was supposed to be a whole lot better than this. NOT! This brush, on the other hand, jerked, pulled, and became stuck in the fur of my poor Maltese. But it wasn't until I read some of the reviews that this brush didn't do what it was supposed to do that I realized the difference. I requested it to see if they were correct, and they were. This brush does not cling to her hair. She seemed to enjoy having her hair brushed for the first time! Even though I was as slow and gentle as possible, it broke my heart that I had forced her to sit through me using that old mean brush. WOW! This brush makes such a difference. No other brush will ever be used by me.
GET THIS. It's what I use on my own hair. It's a long rope that knots easily. It's almost painless. My dog, oh yeah. He, on the other hand, is completely enamored. When I brush him out, he sits for a longer period of time. He is a hound from Afghanistan. His coat was the reason. To get rid of all of his knots, I first use the brush, then the metal comb. His hair is very fine and knots when it comes into contact with the brush, so it's not the brush that's causing the problem.
Front 7- The needles on a freshly cut Christmas tree dropped faster than ten pins. Used to groom a breed with a drop coat.
On my Golden Retriever, this is the best brush I've ever used. It glides through the coat without yanking it. Brushwork is fantastic.
This brush is a replacement for one that I purchased 15 years ago! It works best on my Papillons and lasts a long time when used regularly. What more could a brush possibly provide? The color purple, on the other hand, is a nice bonus. Love it.
Dog brushes from one of my favorite brands. Almost as good as Chris Christenson's brushes in terms of quality. I really like the color.
