In my opinion, you should read my review before purchasing this product. As soon as the water bottle arrived, I was elated because the design was seriously When I put it in my mice's cage I did not pay it any attention. I realized three hours later that the power was not working - It was not providing any water to them. A full bottle of water was in the refrigerator. In order to give them water, I had to remove one of the balls and a little tube that was inside the bottle. I was really worried about them since they hadn't had water for such a long period of time. Even when it works well now, I give them a bowl of water just in case the bottle doesn't have any water. The water bottle I purchased from this manufacturer is not something I would recommend to anyone. I will be buying another bottle from a different company in the future.
The 7 units I bought have all been returned to me. WARNING BEWARE OF BUYER FRAUD Despite its looks, this is not a mouse. I purchased it because it looked sleek and had a high quality feel. It was my intent to purchase nice things for my pet mice to replace the ones I bought from ALFIE brand. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make this happen. It is impossible for mice to get any water out of the spout due to the heavy ball bearings. There is a constant problem with it. I end up dehydrating my animals because of Exactly how frustrating it is. The company should STOP advertising this for mice. It is not made for mice. Maybe bigger rodents can handle it, but not mice. It is also not safe for children. This bamboo stand is eco-friendly as bamboo is a renewable resource As a result, it soaks up urine and becomes a breeding ground If you keep washing that bamboo stand daily, it will just keep absorbing the urine and stinking as long as it is there. Cleanliness would have been improved if the surfaces had been plastic or ceramic. Reposted 7 units to be returned and ordered a ceramic water feeder instead You are right Visit the website. The Amazon website. The 3 inch grate I also purchased was to raise the ceramic water feeder a few inches so the mice wouldn't keep bedding particles in the water The product link is http//www. amazon. com/gp/product/B073JDS478/ You are right Visit the website. Upon seeing this, I thought it would make a great gift for my Syrian friend. At the moment she is in a 40 gallon breeder tank and she uses a suction cup bottle for drinking the suction cup bottle falls off frequently, and she can chew the cups, and she does chew those. The first time I saw this, I thought, "Wow, that's great!". Reviewers have all rated it as awesome, so I ordered it based on what was said on the reviews. This small bottle is perfect if you have a hamster that drinks a lot. She had one that was twice as small as the previous one. It's not an issue since mine has a tendency to sleep the most during the day, and he drinks slowly. The base of the tank seems sturdy enough, although I had to dig out some of her bedding in order to lay it flat on the Whenever there is an unevenness, the building will crumble and fall. A bottle can be found in the You may find it challenging to remove if you need to adjust it high, which is exactly how I do it since my hamster drinks standing up. However, this is not a major concern. It's bad enough that the bottle is plastic, but there's also the problem of its shape. My stance on this is that it is a massive oversight, as hamsters eat plastic, which can be very dangerous to their health. As easy as this can topple due to an overexcited drinker, I believe this is a dangerous oversight. She'll occasionally topple it, so I'll use it until it breaks, but then I'll be on the lookout for one like it, but one made of glass.
I am not sure if it is suitable for mice. Although the stand can easily be adjusted to a comfortable height, my mice had difficulty getting water out of the bottle that comes with it. The spout was a bit large, so they struggled to reach the midpoint. It took me a few hours to notice that the bottle had to be replaced, so I put a smaller bottle in its place, which fit reasonably well, and they drank for a long time to compensate for the few hours without water until.
I needed to back this up into a corner to keep it from tipping over, but once we figured that out, we were good to go. If there is too much litter in the cage or if the gerbils are not big enough, you can adjust the height of the bottle.
It arrived on Tuesday, and I'm writing this on Friday, so far, I'm enjoying the small water bottle and stand. There is no sign of bending or deterioration. My gerbils have not knocked it over since it is sitting on a Doola table/platform in their cages. As soon as I test the little ball at the end of the hose, I see water falling from it as it should. There has been no leak of any kind. On the back, there is a nut and screw that lets you adjust the height of the spout from the ground. As this is a very small bottle, it would not be suitable for animals who drink a great deal of water, like Guinea pigs. As I am unsure how much rats drink, I am not sure if it would be effective on uploaded an image of the bottle and stand next to a can of soda in order to give a sense of size. Here is a picture of the bottle and stand by my gerbil Penny as a size comparison and also because Penny is so adorable Both of my gerbils have been drinking from it no problems I have seen them drinking from it. The water bottle and stand is the latest in my collection of Niteangel products (bendy bridges, wheels, hidey house, etc). Their products are excellent. I highly recommend them. Also, I recommend the Doola hamster/gerbil table or platform shown in my picture.
For my Syrian hamster, this is a wonderful water bottle with an adjustable mouthpiece. A little boy we adopted recently moved from a small cage to a 39-foot van The tank has a volume of 50 gallons. Wrapping a string (hamsters can chew on) around the two outer sides and attaching it to the back of a platform makes the bottle holder not only adjustable but also incapable of falling down.
This is a perfect fit for a bin or deep aquarium setup. I have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium that houses a female The 4 oz diameter is ideal since water should be replaced after each use, if not more often (more so in warmer weather since bacteria grow faster in warm weather) The stand has a height adjustment so it can be used for both robots. If you have a Russian hybrid, a Syrian, a Chinese hamster, Gerbils, or even a mouse, you should be just fine. The fact that you can choose the color is also nice, not just being forced to use something randomly. For example, to me, pink and red are beautiful, but someone else may prefer blues. Furthermore, I think it is nice to have a cage where at least some of the colors blend well I would only recommend one thing to anyone who buys one seal the stand with a sealant as it is wood, and small animals have a tendency to pee on it.
