Questions & Answers

Do you know if the Sturdibag XL has been taken on a flight overseas. The flight I'm taking to Munich is on Luthansa. ?

As I flew Delta over to Europe, I brought my large cat with me. As I chose my seats in advance, I had a bit more room, so I selected my exact seat. My bag fits under the seat during the takeoff and landing, but I could not keep the animal trapped for the whole flight, so I moved to Economy Comfort class, picked the seat next to the restrooms so I could put the bag on the floor after I had taken off. I also shortened the bottom board from 20" to 18" so it would fit in the leg space between the seats if they existed (it depends on what kind of plane it is). Your pet can use the entire size of the bag again when you take it from under the seat. The best thing you can do is do your research on the plane you will be flying so you can pick the right seat, there are some that have more leg-room than others. There are some seats with legs between each one, some have those legs every other seat, when it's better to have that.

It is long enough to fit a medium sized havanese dog inside it, but could your medium sized dog fit inside it too? The weight of the man is around 25 pounds. A 19 inch long and 9 inch wide display is about 19 inches long and 9 inches wide. Is that right?

About 25 pounds also weighs our larger dog, who is a mix between a Schnauzer and a Terrier. It is likely he is taller and has longer legs than you Havaneses. A flight from Miami to Rio took us approximately 8 and a half hours in the cabin, where we both did well, the carrier is excellent. She also used the same size carrier (extra large) for the second dog, which is slightly smaller. Moreover, there is an opening on top, through which they can remove their heads, which is especially useful for your big This cat was very patient, but unfortunately he managed to wiggle his way out of the carrier and onto my lap, it was a I like the carriers very much, they are of

There are two Chihuahuas in the household, one is 5 pounds, the other is 11 pounds. Will this carrier be large enough to fit them both?

YES, I am able to fit my two toy poodles, who are 7 and 8 years old The bag weighs approximately 9 pounds and offers plenty of room for movement. The bag will be too big to fit in an airline cabin. If you'd like to use them for air travel, you can use the large size, mine works perfectly. Make sure that they don't exceed nine inches in height. airlines don't ask how many are in the travel kennels, so you won't have to tell them how many your dog has. Good luck! Two bags were gifted to me and I love them.

The weight of my terrier mix is 14 lbs, and the height of my dog is 20 inches tall with the head attached. Can I get away with a Large from a plane? Do I need the XL or do I need the XL?

In spite of the fact that my Border Terrier is 14 inches tall (top of shoulder) and weighs 14 lbs., it is too small and too tight for him. ordered the XL and will try it on our next flight since I felt horrible about trying to cram him inside of it in the first place.

The bag will fit under the seat of an airplane regardless of its It's much easier to carry a large dog bag, as my 16-pound bichon poodle does better with It was originally the Large that we bought
4/5

A picture of the Large bag can be seen to the left (green) Using this dimension, the seat under the airplane can be fitted underneath. In addition, the XL is larger than the dimensions and does receive some comments about whether or not it will fit underneath the chairs, to which I always demonstrate how it collapses and conforms to the space. As you can see in the picture, the blue SturdiBag on the right is the XL. The two fit under the seat of a Boeing 737 as seen in the picture The Southwest Airlines flight number is 700.

The Cavapoo weighs 18 pounds when flying internationally! I am very happy with the durability of the bag! I will be posting my very first product review today in hope that this might help other people who are trying to decide whether to fly with their pet or not, and which bag to use
5/5

As of August, I had begun planning my international trip from NYC to Prague. I think I read as many reviews as possible before deciding what kind of pet carrier would be best for my 18lb It may seem that he is "light" but he is long I would say the head is about 18", and the tail is about 12". I went over all of the possible reviews as well as the airline regulations to decide what the best option would be for me and him. Keeping your pet secure while you fly is not as easy as you may think, but thanks to a review posted about the Sturdibag by someone who flew with their cocker spaniel. It is suitable to have an English Cocker Spaniel. After reviewing my options (that is, ordering X LARGE Sturdi bag), I decided to order this It was easy to fit my dog into the bag, no doubts about that. When I originally ordered it, I chose a light blue bag. I then exchanged it for black because I realized that light blue would look bigger visually and as strange as it may sound, I thought it would be better not to draw too much attention ) In my initial contact with Delta Airlines, I was told that the luggage would be too large. When I first wanted him on the flight, I tried to book him on it. It took me a bit of effort to explain to them that this bag is actually very flexible, and people are using it for flights. was told by Delta Customer Service that this is still too big to fly on an A330, but this is not going to make a difference. It was my request to speak with My rep told me that they are going to add him, but my rep needs to inform me that he can be denied boarding at the airport. He was added to the flight, but I was scared when hearing that news. A callback was made the following day asking me to get in touch with them in order to confirm the measurements. The next time I called, I had someone else with me and I explained again that the bag can go behind the seat since it is flexible. Fearing that I would have to fight again made me a bit nervous. In this case, however, his answer was "no problem" and you are good to go. When I asked him if I can be denied flying because the bag is too large, one of your coworkers replied, "Yes, my bag is too big. ". He replied with a calming tone that re-energised me Taking out insurance. It is impossible for your bag to be flexible, he told me. At this point in time, I thought it would be nice to celebrate. I have tested the bag, and it is a very flexible material. What I did was remove the wire from the back bag to make it even more flexible. Since the front part is more flexible than the back, I removed the wire from the back bag. It was strange to see my dog in the XL-class when I arrived at the airport For my own protection, I bought the large of the bag and brought it with me. The XLARGE fit him better, but he is more at ease in the large. As soon as we arrived at the airport, the bag was verified, an identification tag was placed on it, and we were ready to go () All TSA agents were pleased to see my dog, and they wished us (or him) a safe flight from that moment on. The 8-hour flight to Prague was one of the longest we've ever had, but we made it without a I did not move from him during our plane ride, he tried to sleep the whole time. My frantic exit from the airport occurred when we touched down ( It's such a relief to be relieved! That is the only way I was able to travel with him, now that I know how it is. As such, the bag definitely deserves a recommendation for those who have a bigger It would be great to hear from someone who found my review helpful! Wishing you all the luck in the world!.

Before you make a purchase, please read the following The French Bulldog must weigh less than 28 lbs in order to be approved
5/5

With Artemis, my 8 month old Frenchie, I purchased this, as well as the large, to fly for the first time. A carrier such as this is the perfect choice for "small dogs" who weigh more than they are used to carrying. It is estimated that Artie is 18 inches tall and stands 11 inches tall. Standing from muzzle to butt, this dog is 5 inches long. The child is 28 lbs now, but when he is grown up, he will probably reach 30 lbs if not more. As it is a larger carrier, anticipate that you will receive looks/comments from the flight staff, but still, this airline will fit under the seat. You should not appear hesitant or be frightened. Be sure to be firm if an airline is denying you boarding. Make sure you have a picture showing the carrier in its proper location (there are tons on google, and you can check out the dogjaunt website for more details about how the bag fits under the seat). You know what your dog is like. The large was the back up I brought into the vet's office when I checked in my dog. The Southwest Airlines flight out of Austin, Texas was the last one of the day. The ticket clerk asked to see the dog as part of the checking in process to pay the 95$ pet fee. It looked as if she was worried when I showed her the carrier. My response was that it was a bigger carrier, but that it could fit under the seat, and I showed her how flexible it was. The other employee told me I could not force the dog under the seat. I defended myself by explaining that the carrier I chose was intended to accommodate my dog's The length of his body makes it harder to turn him, so he requires The pictures were of him flying before, so I told her that he'd done it before. After the ticket woman had been appeased, the nosey employee said she would get It was approved after the manager came out, and I stuck to my guns. Other than that, I didn't have any other problems during the I sat in the middle seat with my dog stowed under, as did my boyfriend. Our window and aisle seats were assigned to my boyfriend and me. While he was on the plane, he slept. As we returned we flew Southwest out of San Jose as well. There was no problem in the gate area. The ticket counter did not even ask to see the dog in his carrier (it could have been a monkey). In the end, I was able to stow him effectively under the middle seat on either side of us. A few TIPS The following - Having a large-sized bag in your carry-on as back up will give you peace of mind should you be denied check-in. For a Frenchie of my size, this is adequate, but not ideal. (I wouldn't recommend it for any longer flights or travels than four hours long). Unless your dog is especially large or heavy, do not use the large size carrier. The following - *Do not be hesitant to have pictures of your dog's past flights with this carrier even if they were their first flight. Remember "you've flown with the carrier before without issue. " The old check tag should remain on the bag until your new one arrives (proof you have used the bag before) and you should keep all receipts* - for fees. Close your bag's sides and leave just the mesh on top so that it can be stowed on a plane discreetly. We didn't mention we were carrying a dog in the sturdibag to the flight attendants or gate employees (I don't think they knew). The following - Strive for a middle ground! There is typically the most space in the middle seats due to their location in the middle of the plane. The following - Your own research is your best bet. We invite you to read about other sturdibag users' experiences with your particular airline and what worked and what didn't. The following - The bag will still flex appropriately if the two provided support rods are not included when assembling it. However, you can choose not to use the rods when assembling it. The following - You will be able to fly with your dog much more easily and quickly if your dog is used to the carrier as soon as possible. The following - My dog's Instagram handle is @partyartiefrenchie

GOOD LUCK! I look forward to answering any questions you have about my dog.
