Questions & Answers

For snakes, is it safe?

Without a doubt.

Will I still need to purchase a separate multivitamin for my leopard gecko if I order the calcium with vitamin D3 or will this be sufficient?

I believe the d3 will take care of it. However, determine how much they require on a daily basis.

I noticed you also sell a version without D3; how do I know which one is best for my gecko?

Without D3 is for animals that are kept outside or have a UVB lamp and get enough D3 from the sun or lamp. Although it may seem strange, people who live in consistently warm climates (such as Florida or Arizona) keep their reptiles in outdoor cages. Of course, you can use a UVB lamp no matter where you are.

This is something that Redfoot enjoys
4/5

I bought it for my Redfoot, who is almost two years old. I sprinkle a little salt on his food once a week, and he eats his lunch without complaint. The calcium powder DOES include a small measuring cup; however, it is buried beneath the first few layers of product for some reason. As you can see from my photos, I had to dig to find it. If you aren't careful, the product will get all over your clothes and is difficult to remove. The surfaces are fine, and the product is excellent; however, it is a little messy, and the cup is buried.

It was a good investment
5/5

It even comes with a small scoop! I despise going to PetSmart because they sell these tiny ones for such a high price, and they're never enough. I'm so happy I came across this! It's a huge hit with my leopard gecko. There's also a small scoop included. It's just a matter of digging a little deeper to find it. It was a good investment. Without a doubt, I will purchase again!.

Simple to work with
5/5

This is one of my favorite things for my lizards, and they don't seem to mind in the least. It provides them with the calcium and vitamin D they require to help prevent MBD, and it is extremely simple to use. It has two entrances: one on the left and the other on the right. One is open so you can get a larger amount out, and the other is slotted so you can just sprinkle it over whatever you want to cover. This stuff has been in my possession for months, and I still have a lot of it. There's also a scoop, according to reports. I had no idea until I discovered it buried in there a couple of weeks ago.

Dusting my chameleon's insects is simple, and he clings to them
5/5

I shake some of this out into a large plastic cup with the crickets, roaches, or worms and wiggle it side to side a couple of times to get them liberally dusted, and it clings to them well for minimal waste. Results: br>br> With the beginnings of MBD (oy, Craigslist Pets), I got one rough-looking little Jackson's, and he's become a lot more mobile in the last two months, with no more slips and falls. He climbs to the top of his enclosure and basks in the sun, his belly stuffed with supplemented bugs.

Calcium in a big ol' container! That's a lot of calcium in that container! I completely underestimated the amount of material I'd be receiving; this thing is massive! My crested geckos appear to be set for the time being
5/5

Pbr>br>My only gripe was something that couldn't be avoided; the peel- The top thing was already loose, but I think it just popped off because it was the paper type of seal that comes off easily on any powdered product; it didn't appear to have been tampered with, and it was completely full, so I assume it just fell off on its own. It did leak a small amount of powder into the box, but I don't mind. It's simple to use, and it's important to me that my reptiles are healthy.

It was exactly what the doctor had recommended
5/5

I bought it based on other people's reviews, which were accurate. I have a two-year-old desert tortoise, and I was concerned that he wasn't getting enough vitamins and minerals to develop his shell. Before giving it to him, I double-checked with my veterinarian, who said it was fine. After mixing this in with the tortoise pellets we also purchased, our little guy is already looking a little better. If you're concerned about your reptile (in my case, my tortoise) getting enough nutrients, I recommend trying this.

Excellent and long-lasting! We have four bearded dragons and a chameleon, so this product is perfect for us
5/5

We bought them more than a year ago and haven't even finished the calcium container. The crickets are collected in a peanut butter container, and the calcium is sprinkled on top. Every other day, we feed them. We've had 6 crickets each and it's lasted us a very long time. This has been a lifesaver for me. This is a product that I strongly recommend; you will not be disappointed!.

Same as if you bought it in a store
5/5

It's a lot easier to have things delivered through Amazon, and you get a lot more bang for your buck. My local store sells the same product, and we've been using it for a while.
