Questions & Answers

For my bearded dragon, do I need this? Today I bought him as a baby. Is he already old enough to work?

I am sure you are right! To dust him/her X-rays show that she has a cervical cancer I'm not sure what the bone structure looks like, but it is healthy. In order for bearded dragons to avoid metabolic bone disease, it is critical to make sure that they receive an adequate diet of calcium and quality UVB light. I can't emphasize enough how important UVB light is and how easy it is to disregard since it's sort of a passive ray. It utilizes a style of bulb (rather than tube), placing the light underneath a screen that filters out as much as 50% of visible and infrared light Inadequate UVB light is received by most bearded dragons due to the quality of most bulbs, the distance from the bulb to an appropriate basking spot, and the shape of the bulbs. There are a lot of impaction issues that seem to be a singular obsession of the bearded dragon community online, and I suspect they are often caused by bearded dragons purposefully eating their substrate as a result of metabolic deficiencies, I believe. Poor lighting and inadequate diet can lead to pica, as can lack of supplements and lack of nutrition. Considering the most commonly found bearded dragons have a high UVB falloff at rated distances- It is unlikely that an aquarium with a mesh top and a cfl will provide sufficient UVB light for bearded dragons unless you are using niche-specific reptile bulbs. Remember that sand and sandy soil are native to Australia and sand is the native ecosystem. In addition, there are also those people who The substances, called vitamin sand substrates, are not a substitute for calcium in the diet, nor are they something you should encourage your beardie to eat. In my opinion, hardened excavator clay is nice because it's not loose, won't absorb moisture, and looks really Approximately 40 percent), an adequate basking area of 110 degrees (less for an adult) as well as a varied temperature in the enclosure, hiding places of some kind, and adequate walking space (no more than 40 gallons). A varied diet of both green leafy vegetables and protein is also crucial. It wouldn't matter to me if my pet didn't eat those pellets since they wouldn't care for There is a lot of talk about which vegetables are best for consumption because of their oxalates content. If you are using a multi vitamin dust on his or her feeder insects, you should use it occasionally as well. The female bearded dragons (which you may have, as it is difficult to identify a bearded dragon baby) are more likely to be diagnosed with metabolic bone disease when they are ovulating because their eggs use calcium for growth. After they begin to reproduce, females generally require additional specific care and usually need to be spayed. Thanks for reading *br> Good luck! It is fun to be around bearded dragons, who are a lot friendlier than you'd expect from

Owing to the American Toad I don't think I'll be able to stop! A little bit of me felt threatened
5/5

The packaging is very An airtight seal keeps the freshness of the item (until you open it) and can be useful to detect whether the package has been opened before. Additionally, after being covered with white calcium powder, the crickets appeared to be quite unhappy as they randomly jumped around and appeared to be trying to end their existence by jumping into the water dish and directly into the sides of the glass tank. I think this is a good product, cricket reactions aside.

I used this for two feedings (twice) of my two juvenile Eastern six-month old chicks We also had a Carolina green anole, a racerunner lizard, and a spotted After reading several horror stories online, I now know the cause of my problem with one of my racerunners (time will tell if it's the other one as well)

I presume this has caused it to lose its This is blind! Unfortunately, I am going to have to put my baby lizard down because it's blind and probably going to die. I had planned to care for it for at least 6 years.

The next time I have to buy this, I will not. Despite the low price, it seems to be a good deal. However, you won't receive the whole product if you don't buy the whole thing.

Contains both bacteria and fungi, which are needed not just for bearded dragons, but for The book is worth buying! The calcium supplements are a very good value for much of the money you'd spend on your lizards (and many of them do)
5/5

A little of the food is sprinkled out on the upturned bottom of the lid, and the mealworms and superworms are raked through it before going into the If you are going to give a calcium supplement to your bearded dragon, there are several of them you can choose from, whether it is this one or one you can add to water (bearded dragons cannot see standing water, which is why I dust their food with calcium supplements). I think your critters will appreciate this for a very long time. Please do them a favor and provide them with everything they need, and this is certainly one thing they will really appreciate!.

The mineral calcium
4/5

It might be safer to get a syringe and fill it with distilled water if your child is a picky eater. Bubbles will exit if you push them out I added chicken and vegetables to the baby food. As an alternative. Buying the liquid is the best option. It is obvious they are getting plenty of food. The illumination is correct, so they don't need extra D3, and it can cause other problems. Thanks a bunch!.

I'd like that This is the best thing I have ever bought for my leopard geckos
5/5

Although they most likely do not notice that it is on their food, they still eat it like there is I like how easy it is In a container or bag with the insect, shake it up very well and then you can give it to your reptile. It's also great because it's the Calcium and Vitamin D3 in one package so I don't have to purchase two separate supplements.

She can add this to virtually any type of food she eats. End product is very reasonably priced when compared to its quantity.
