This reptile calcium has worked well for me for decades. The new non-shaker top, on the other hand, is a pain. On their food, I now use a lot more than I intended. It's just as bad to have too much calcium as it is to have too little. Hopefully, this new top is just a result of the changes that have occurred over the last two years, and they will be able to return to the shaker style top once things have returned to normal.

I guess I didn't realize how big this thing was; I assumed it would be small, but it's HUGE (especially when compared to how much you use on a daily basis). It has a good grip on the bugs. Because I'm putting it in a small bowl and the container's opening is quite large, I just cut a small portion of the seal to keep the calcium from spilling everywhere. It's a good calcium that's free of D3.

My only gripe is that the service sppon that comes with it is difficult to return to the container because it is so long!.
