Questions & Answers

Is this worth buying so I can keep the humidity in my turtle eggs and dragon eggs high?

That's not at all the case! These don't last long, regardless of whether you use pure water or not. On YouTube, you can find videos describing how you can easily convert the humidifier you buy from CVS into an energy-efficient one. I have been using my $20 model from CVS pharmacy for two years now. It does not require pure water to work.

Chameleons seem to be able to cope with it? Would you mind if I timed it?

It worked well enough for I use it as an enclosure for my Veiled Chameleons. Besides misting the cage every few minutes with the fogger, I mist the whole thing a few times a day. The answer to this question really depends on the type of chameleon you have, as different species have different tolerances for fluctuating humidity levels. A humidifier like this one can maintain a relative humidity of about 60 percent within the cage. In the 60s- Environment, fogger placement, and fogger performance affect the fogger's efficiency by 90 to 95%. A fake vine runs up the corner behind mine, and its spout spills fog onto the plants and chameleon and creates an interesting effect. It is also not recommended that you use a timer This is essential. The best option would be to either let it run to maintain humidity or turn the temperature down to low if it's already heavily Please make sure you are aware of the specific humidity requirements of the Chameleon species you want.

Can you tell me how long the tube is?

This is a pretty long post. You can compress this straw and lengthen it quite a bit, since it is straw-like. At its full extent, it could stretch to about 2 feet. The product would not be a good purchase for me. This device is made of a cheap material and I only used it for a week before it

Where can you find 220V in Europe?

In South Korea, there are products used in Europe that were purchased by going through the internet

Selected User Reviews For Zoo Med Reptifogger Terrarium Humidifier

The stars are zero! Is there a way to leave a zero starred review? They are not expected to last more than a year based on the number of times I've purchased them over the years
3/5

I think it's a good deal for the price. However, the three I've purchased in the last three months have been pure garbage. The one I bought a month ago didn't work shortly after I bought it. It wasn't the timer we were using, but the one that arrived today also doesn't work - I thought it might be the timer we used - Time was bypassed and no timer was rung. Despite the blue light on the motor, the motor does not run. It would be wonderful if it worked, since the gecko loves mist. The quality of the product needs to be checked by someone. It's not worth promoting junk to customers, and you'll lose them.

The app works fine, it does what it should
4/5

The product has been very useful for my critters for a very long time . The device produces a lovely thick mist that you can direct exactly where you want it. There is an issue with the unit that will stop working after a year of regular cleaning. As a result of water containing minerals, the sonic disk is destroyed. We had to tape over the "on" light so our room wouldn't be illuminated by the unit at night. The unit is sometimes loud and can be loud at times. Additionally, I wish that the control could be a little more advanced, maybe by offering intermittent or timed use, if at all possible. I always managed this with a separate timer/control gadget. In addition to the discs wearing out, I have also experienced issues with the fan not working. I called the manufacturer several times and they sent me a new fan, which I installed, and the manufacturer told me Last year my last reptile needed this fogger passed away, so I no longer use it, but all in all, I had to buy a new one once a year despite cleaning on a regular basis. This product is comparable to what you would get at a reptile expo for the same price on Amazon.

It is an adequate misting device, with just one Over the course of nearly five years, I have used this mister every day for about eight hours
4/5

Device in and of itself is fine, but they use cheap PC (computer) fans that die soon after installation. It has lasted for about 12 months before I needed to replace the fan A year and a half. I have always gotten a new fan from Zoo Med for no charge when I asked (less than $5 a piece), but I bought two extra fans from Amazon for spare use. Water accumulates on the screen, and drips into the enclosure from the mist tube, which is mounted above my chameleon's enclosure. I have the mist tube hang down onto the screen, making the enclosure's top side. The mist tube is right under a pothos plant for catching any excess water that flows into the enclosure. On a daily basis, I check the dial that controls "intensity" I notice that it changes on its own once every couple of weeks It is likely a result of vibrations. My overall experience with this mister has been very positive, however do expect to need to replace the fan at some point (take 4 screws off the bottom, pull out the old fan, replace it with the new one. Please observe the direction of the original fan so that the new fan pushes mist OUT the tube rather than inside).

Quality control was poor, and the base was full of scraps
3/5

A 5 out of 5 star rating. I purchased two machines (4 years apart) the first one had loose screws in the base and the second one had two screws that were On the second one (4 years later and from a local store), I found the same loose screw. On the third there was a screw that wasn't holding the frequency module in place. There is a potential fire and shock hazard, as well as scraps of manufacturing placed in the base, apparently to save money on rubbish. It is strongly advised that you purchase a unit of this type with extreme caution.

It is considered insane to keep doing the same thing over and over, hoping something different will happen? The reason I keep hoping for a device that works longer than a few months is that I am unable to determine what is wrong with me
3/5

Four of these have now been ordered, yes FOUR. While I have difficulty finding a humidifier that is the right size for my Terrarium set up, I can't seem to find another humidifier that is the right size for my Terrarium. Using distilled water in the humidifier is what I do. During the first 8 months, humidifier #1 was running fine but not for long after that. I have been having the same problem with humidifier #2 for the last two months. In case the Low to High output control is not available for humidifier #3, I just got it a couple of weeks ago. There are so many things going on! In just 3 hours the terrarium will be filled with thick fog and I won't be able to see into it or enjoy the scenery inside because it is so foggy. I fill up the reservoir bottle, turn the knob to the lowest setting, and that is how full blast it gets. A new order of #4 was placed. It is considered insane to keep doing the same thing over and over, hoping something different will happen? The person in the photo is Having a humidifier that is not only small like this one, but also has a water tank that lasts for a few days would be great.

Everything seems to be working fine
3/5

A lot needs to be done to improve the website. The first thing to note is that this device has no humidity sensor or controller. Rather, it controls the fog by increasing or decreasing the amount. Essentially, it helps pets with their woes by being a fancy vaporizer. As a result, you will have to purchase For controlling your printer, I recommend InkBird. I trust the temperature controller under my hot tub because it has worked for two years now. In the second place I am drinking water from the There was a problem with the spring valve on the bottom. It would not open, preventing the water from draining. had to squeeze the bottle over and over again. In response, I emailed the company and they advised me to push the valve in hard and hold it several times until the spring is loosened. There are plenty of experts in the field who know you've got a problem and The third point is I have had the fogger for a week, and I'm hearing this horrendous noise whenever it turns It appears that they use a substandard fan and they don't secure it well, and the fan rattles around and maybe there is a problem with the fan bearing. The batteries can be replaced easily. Open the bottom of any 12volt 40x10mm fan found on Amazon (see youtube) and replace it with one of these. I must say, It has been a week, and already I have had to resolve three issues? In my bedroom I have been using a Vicks humidifier since it was introduced two years ago. Just give me a hose adapter and I'll be good to go! Update

I am very pleased with the replacement fan I purchased from Amazon for 12$. There is now a whisper of silence coming from the fogger. It was necessary to pull the plug connections loose and swap them because the wires on the fan plug didn't match the new plug (they were reversed). After a bit of work, the fan has been installed ad the fogger is working again.

I broke after using it about 7 times

I had to give my baby bearded dragon medicine for an As a result, he was able to breathe easier. Filtering the water and adding medicine into a cricket keeper covered with a towel for 20 minutes a day made sense. appeared to be a really helpful tool! Despite this, however. After monitoring him for a short time, I went back to check on him while he was receiving treatment. The whole thing has been checked! The electrical panel, the water supply, the outlets, and the There was an error! It just stopped The only time I used it was about 7 times.
