Questions & Answers

How should I handle the water I use for my chameleon if I'm using my Britta filter?

There are people who use filtered water, as I have been told. It is always a good idea to put in the kind of treatment that you can get at Make sure that you provide the chameleon with calcium with every feeding and in its drinking It was a painful lesson that we had to learn. Hope you have a good time!

didn't come with instructions, so how much water should I put in it and where should it be placed? Do you know if distiller water will work in this product?

With my water bottle dispenser, I did not receive instructions either. I use bottled water, and I only need to put in 1 bottle after the initial setup. I put in the filter, put the green plate in, and then I put the top on and then I put the water in. Plug it in, and it will start creating its beautiful waterfall. I fill it to the seems of the inside, then plug it in. Could you please give me your feedback? Having four of them is nothing short of a dream come true for us. We have 1 iguana, so I use that for him. It's great and he loves it!

Are frogs likely to benefit from this?

In my opinion, I would recommend it for frogs as long as they can't fit between the holes and stuff like that

The wire mesh cage is made of mesh, so how do you run the cord through it?

If you have a mesh cage, make a hole so the cord can run along the side. In my exo Terra cage, it has that spot, but if you have a mesh cage, you may have to make a hole.

It is quiet, efficient, and has a large In a nutshell, Great job, I love Chameleons are supposed to live in groups, so this was a perfect pair for me
5/5

I rescued a veiled Chameleon from a previous situation, and she was recovering. In the past, I had a leaking Big Dripper. This product, which filters water and has a huge reservoir for holding it, is a far better product than the one I had before. There was a lot of silence.

It's the best thing ever for my Chameleon Veiled- I am extremely pleased with the purchase
5/5

In a nutshell, I just added this feature to his habitat. He needed water every 7 to 10 minutes, so I misted him seven times or more a day before. His thirst never subsided, despite the fact that he always had more to drink. The Cantina had barely been placed in his habitat when he was crawling and drinking water from it as soon as it was placed. It was not uncommon for me to feel safe around the water while holding him, even though he is a baby veiled only a few months old. There's no fear of drowning or getting soaked with the catcher at the bottom because it has a light sponge that doesn't hold a lot of water. made a video of him drinking it, and he was the cutest! He loves it and perches up next to it, I think he likes hearing It is only a light trickle coming from the waterfall that you can hear the motor. He can hold on to other plants and vines around the water, which gives him a greater sense of stability when Perched on top of it, he's currently dozing off! I am so happy with this purchase and it has been an incredible investment!.

It's loved by the created gecko! Because this is a bit bulky and makes a whirring sound, I was worried my created gecko wouldn't use it
4/5

It turned out that I wasn't right. His favorite thing about it is that he adores It is very common for me to catch him on top of it licking the fake leaves off of the water. My suggestion would be to make the leaves more attractive. The slide is flat regardless of how you arrange them, and the water runs down the slide into the basin without much effort. The water would actually drip off of them more effectively if they were arranged differently. It would also be better if it had an automatic shutoff when the water flowed too low rather than the pump just becoming noisier as the water runs low. In spite of these factors, my gecko doesn't appear to mind much so it doesn't matter. 16 oz of water can be kept in it and it is usually very quiet. Adding humidity is nice too. Just make sure you take note of the measurements before making a purchase so that it fits in your enclosure before you order it. It was a lot less bulky in the older version I had. The bottle water I use in it is only bottled water, and I haven't experienced Neither an overflow nor an obstruction will occur, nor will the pump fail. Since writing this review, I have been using the product for a few months. There is no doubt in my mind that I would.

It's love at first sight for the chameleon
5/5

In a nutshell, I gave it to my chameleon as soon as I got it she drank from it right away. Other than that, it is pretty quiet other than the sound of a waterfall.

Exactly what we needed! I have been using this product for years
5/5

This is what my boyfriend & I talk about My brother and I bought the Chameleon kit that came with the "little dripper", but we immediately regretted our decision. Neither the drip was perfect nor was it adequate. She was getting too much or too little water. In an effort to make my research more efficient, I decided to buy The problem of making sure she gets enough water throughout the day has gone away. With the water drip speed control you can even adjust it if any mess or overflow occurs. This is exactly what I wanted! Thanks a lot!.

The Dripper Nightmare came to an end
5/5

I have never seen anything like this. I am so grateful that Clyde the Chameleon has this, as the little dripper apparatus has become such a nightmare for me. This works great, allows me to rest assured that he will remain hydrated, makes his home look nicer than that ugly dripper apparatus. This is Clyde's favorite book, too, and I love it as well.

Hope he drinks some water! In a nutshell, Please let me have some water for my bearded lady! Other than soaking him and misting him, this is my last option

Bringing it to Chameleon is like putting it on a pedestal
5/5

In a nutshell, Don't worry about it. Just put it in its In response to the chameleon's call, it sat down and immediately took a drink, then waited about 5 minutes before coming down for another. We felt that she was getting dehydrated, but the drip system we were using wasn't easy for the animal to use. I'm not sure how long the campaign will last. I won't run it on an ongoing basis If you want to prolong life, you can stop for an hour a day.
