It takes me 5 minutes to fill and 30 minutes for my mare to empty. UPDATE: I'm back! It's falling apart at the seams after only two weeks. I wouldn't normally bother with a return because we had a lot of fun with the product for a few weeks. However, at $20, it was costly enough that I'd like my money back, so I'll use Amazon's defective product return policy. My horse is a rough rider, but I believe we followed the instructions to the letter and the product simply did not hold up. UPDATE: It was moved a few feet away from the wall so she couldn't press it against it, and now it takes her 30 minutes to empty it! If you're concerned about horse neck strain or injuries, I'd like to add that I can see how this could happen. In addition, there's a new update on the durability of the product - It's only been a week and it's already starting to fall apart at the seams. It's hard to say how long it'll last! Works as described, is sturdy, and my mare enjoys playing with it to get hay out of it. However, if you're looking for something to keep your horse occupied for an extended period of time, this isn't the device for you. It was easier to fill than I expected; I stuffed as much hay as I could into it, which took about 5 minutes. My mare can get it out in less than 15 minutes. It's mostly free hanging where I have it, though she does press it against the wall every now and then. It might take her longer if I move it closer to the center of her stall. Just in case, I wrapped the tie rope in baling twine to lower the breaking point.
It's simple to fill and keeps him occupied, so he anticipates my putting it up. br>Recent changes: 12/18/21 This treat ball has been in my possession for 11 months and is still going strong! My gelding still enjoys it and looks forward to when I place his ball in his stall!.
This isn't worth your time. At first, I assumed it had been sent in error because it is shaped like a football. It's of poor quality once unfurled, with the colors separating. And the shape is still jumbled. In addition, small-scale For a medium dog, there are more sizes to choose from. This would be ripped to shreds by my horse!.
I should've double-checked the numbers. It was entirely my fault. It's a teeny-tiny amount of money. It was also difficult to get the hay into the holes. I should've done more research before making such a decision. My pony, on the other hand, had the hay out in no time.
It was fantastic for a while. It was a great way for my horse to pass the time while stall resting, but it broke after only three weeks. Buying another one would be a waste of money.
My horse seems to enjoy playing with this when I fill it up even when there is hay available. I also throw in a few carrots or cookies with the hay on occasion as a surprise for her.
I bought this to keep my donkey entertained; I enjoy presenting her with challenges to keep her busy. It works, but there's no simple way to stuff the hay in there, and she can get it out much faster than I can.
Our horse is enamored with his stuffed animal.
