Yes 8. The bottom line is 4 inches. The side is the longest measurement; it's a nice product.
I'm not sure, but it fits in my Akita's crate nicely. She enters to drink the water because the height is appropriate for her size; however, she is not rambunctious inside the cage.
It might not be *extremely* secure, but it should function.

"Oh cool," I thought when I saw these, "something easy that holds a decent amount of water without being too expensive. " These little gems, however, far exceeded my expectations. And that's unusual because half of the things we try to buy don't turn out as well as we had hoped. These aren't among them. We have two puppy kennels as well as a playpen for our two growing pups. In one kennel, the cross-breeds are thinner. The pail did not need to be adjusted to be hung inside the kennel, and the other kennel has slightly thicker cross-bars. As a result, the hanging hooks had to be carefully widened. We were careful to hold the weld and use pliers to gently widen the hang sections of the hooks because I had heard that they were prone to breaking. We got it to hang in about 5 minutes. There are no cracks or breaks in the material. Everything is still in good condition, hangs well, and is easily removed for cleaning or refilling. Furthermore, because these pails are made of metal, the water remains cool. My 4- month- There hasn't been a night when the old lab pups haven't had enough to drink. Still about a third of the way through. In the morning, half-full (6-cup capacity) a 7-hour stretch Our cat has even been known to sneak into the kennels or playpen to drink from them. We usually move one from a kennel to a playpen, but we may purchase another just to give the cat more options. Dbr>br>Sometimes, keeping things simple is the best option.
It's supposed to be made of stainless steel. When using only clean tap water from the Detroit water system, rust areas appeared inside the red circles. Since September 29, 2021, I've never been outside, and I've only been inside since then. The bucket was not hit or otherwise harmed in any way. Rust has just started to appear! Stainless steel is terrible!.
Exactly what I needed for my dogs when they went outside to play. They like to "roughhouse" and wrestle and have a good time. They get thirsty, but by then they've either turned over their bowls or kicked up so much dust that their water has turned into liquid mud. (We live in the desert, after all. ) I can set it just high enough to avoid any mishaps. They should still be able to get in touch with you. It's well-made. br> Our veterinarian advised us to use stainless steel. It is simple to maintain. br> It has a carry handle that makes it simple to transport. It's perfect, as I previously stated.
I was concerned that the hooks holding the bucket to the fence would bend. That is not the case. My 75 lb. The German Shepherd enjoys putting both front paws inside the fence and standing in the water, and it is firmly attached to the fence. Because my Shepherds like to try to swim in everything, I only had one water source in the backyard for both of them. This bucket now serves as a second source of water in the front yard and can't be tipped over.
Except for the fact that the two hanger clips are welded too close together, it's a very well-made product. The method for hanging this in a chain is as follows: The pail can be hung on a short length of 1/2" rebar inserted through the fence fabric. That won't work with these clips because they're too close together.
These are used to keep a blind chicken from stepping in her food or water. They're simple to clean and haven't rusted in nearly a year of use.
I like how the bottom is molded (no seams) and that there are hooks to hang it on. Despite the fact that puppy has knocked on the crate floor. Carabiners must now be used to secure the situation.
This bucket is simple to clean, and my dogs can't chew it up because it's made of metal. One of the two back tabs broke off, but it otherwise functioned as expected. This is where you can get a water bucket if you need one.
