We apply it to our horses and it does not get on our hands, but it does get on their skin and coat without causing any issues. I would always read the product label before applying anything to our horses.

Our donkey's skin reacted badly to this product causing him to peel on the legs. Not sure which ingredient is causing this reaction. Our two horses that were treated with this product were fine, and we know others who have had no problem using it. Be sure to test a small area before using on your equine to determine whether it is Neither fly spray nor any other one of them has caused this problem.
