Questions & Answers

Could I put it in a fly spray bottle and dilute it to make it more effective? Is it something I wipe on or is it something I apply?

The chances are probably slim A substance like this would probably not spray well due to its oily nature. My horse gets a good dose of it by rubbing on a mitt This works for me because my horse hates being sprayed with a sprayer. The manufacturer of Färam makes a repellent spray called RepelX. Then they sell it pre-owned It can be mixed in a spray bottle or you can pick up a container of the solution, like the Wipe container, that you can put in a spray bottle and add Since you mix it, it is a good value In Diluted 1, we start with Combined with water, it provides economical protection against houseflies, horn flies, gnats

Are large dogs able to use this product?

Thanks for visiting! Designed for horses and foals, this product contains a unique blend of ingredients. The off-label use of this product is not recommended.

What is the recommended method for diluting wipe solution with water? A bottle we have is old and the directions are incorrect. ?

It has an oil base, and can be used right out of the bottle using a rag or an applicator. Their spray lasts longer than this one, but they do have a spray that does not.

I find it works! Even Farnam sprays have never worked for me (I have tried more than twenty horse fly/gnat Even if they claimed they left a brief time ago, the flies were back in no time, and they may not have even left at all
5/5

As someone who regularly used fly wipes, I was relieved to see this product was the same original formula fly wipe I used when I was younger, however it is now pricey ($93 per This was one of the worst years for gnats that anyone has ever experienced in western North Carolina The gnat net I had to buy myself when working around the horses was quite costly. When I used the wipe on their ears and faces, that calmed them right down. They were terrified by the gnats and remained in the barn for a long time, stomping their feet and flailing their heads until they dried. After I applied the wipe to my clients' legs, I could see the flies quickly move to the unprotected legs until all legs were protected and not a fly or gnat was found. On the following day, it still works to control flies and gnats. In addition to wearing gloves and using an old towel to apply the wipe, I keep the wipe and towels in a stall that is unused because I don't want the strong smell to linger in my tack room and I imagine that also keeps flies away from the barn. The price of $93 for something that lasts the whole day is better than $50 for something that lasts only a few minutes, and a gallon lasts a long time.

A horse insecticide that is the best on the market
5/5

I've tested them all and they all last between 12 and 24 hours. Insecticides for horses are difficult to find, but this is the best available. For more than 30 years, I was a professional horse breeder and trainer Our horses are still with us. Since I was a child, I have used this Wipe on a daily basis. Covering my horse from head to toe every day is how I use it. My horses were affected by flies, mosquitoes, and black flies throughout the entire It wasn't unusual for me to try out new products every time they were released. Cheaper is generally a more appealing option. There is a wide variety of horses insecticides available to horse owners and they are priced differently. Wipe is the only one that works as well as any other. There are strong ones for those who think chemicals hurt horses and weak ones for those who don't know. Only once did I have a mare swell up from this product. I put her on Bute immediately, and in a couple of hours she was back to normal. I think that is because you don't shake it up when you use it. The first time I used it on her, it didn't irritate her at all, but then I decided not to use it for a year. Throughout her life, I carried her on it. I have gone on it with my horses from birth and have used it her entire life. Nothing malignant has been detected. Horses have been a part of my life for most of my life. A cancer patient has never been in my family. In terms of price, this product is the most expensive on the market, but it is also the best. If you want to keep your horses free from stinging insects for 12 to 24 hours, this is the product to try. In the event that the horse sweats, it should be reapplied. Anything you put on your skin will be washed away by sweat.

The program worked very well and was well worth the cost
5/5

I love these wipe fly repellents because I just have to use a small amount on my horse's legs, neck, back, and belly throughout the day to keep the flies away. It is so wonderful that I don't need to spray these dangerous chemicals into the air to have them fall on me or be breathed by me by accident. In addition, more of the product gets onto my horse as a result. The container is small, and it is a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it because I use less than traditional fly spray because I waste less of the product.

I find it to be the most efficient
5/5

The only fly spray I would choose if I had to choose only one is this one. As a result, the dust tends to stick to it), but it does not wipe off, evaporate, or wash off as quickly. As a result, insects are kept at bay by the scent. In my barn there will always be some!.

The original formula for Farnam Wipe
5/5

It is one of the best products on the market for killing ticks and other bloodsuckers. Unlike other products, it lasts a few days instead of a few hours. I've used this product for years and have had no problems with its application or with any adverse reactions from my horses. We win and we win.

Thanks a lot! My horses have never been happier with a horse fly repellent I have ever used, and I live in the south during summer which is a horrible time of year for horse flies

There is no better fly wipe than this
5/5

It's been over 25 years since I first started using it, and it is by far the best fly wipe on the market. This is a secret, pour a little into a small, lidded jar at all times and use a rag to wipe away any residue. Put it on by squeezing it out. Whenever I wear rubber gloves, I keep my hands warm. When used in this way, the fly wipe will last for a long time.

The only wipe that I will use for as long as I live is Farnam Wipe
5/5

I have been using it for well over 20 years. The coat of the horse is also well-conditioned by it after a long time of use. It's in an old coffee can with an absorbent cloth inside. I use an old coffee can so no waste will be generated. It is a really good.
