Questions & Answers

Do you think it would work on outside cats?

It is not recommended that cats use this product. On the other hand, we do offer products that are safe for use on cats when it comes to fly repellants. If you have any questions, please contact our Consumer Care Representative at 800-521-4139 I. 234-237 Feel free to call 2269 if you want

Are cattle able to be treated with this?

That would seem to be the case- Horses are the animals I use

Is it possible to lightly apply this to the body of my dog? When camping, she is almost eaten alive by black flies. Is that okay?

The dogs do not like it. Your dogs will almost always lick any part of their body that has been applied to. You would be better off with a product made for dogs like Frontline.

When it comes to chicken wounds, can it be used?

Labeled only for horses and dogs, this product should only be used on them. Chickens pecking at it and eating it would be a cause for concern.

Worked for me
5/5

read positive reviews before I purchased this, and it has a lot of positive feedback. Hence, I thought adding to them would be a good decision. The Siberian husky is one of two dogs that I own. In the summer my girl in particular gets eaten by flies because I keep them outside. After buying this product for them, I can say one month later that my girl is back to normal, her fur is growing back around her eyes, nose, and The package arrived and I'm so happy to have it. It is always a pleasure to work with Farnam fly repellents.

This is a first-rate product
5/5

It is excellent for protecting open wounds from flies and gnats. It is also effective for protecting the inside of horses' ears. As soon as they wake up, I slather the ear cream inside their ears. In any other case, the gnats will turn all your precious ears into bloody hamburgers. Additionally, I rub it under their eyes (not over their eyes It may drip when it melts), on their muzzles and in the long groove under their faces (a favorite nesting place for ticks) between the cheekbones and their chins - Fly masks with ears and a muzzle flap are worn by my horses, but gnats will find any small gap. The animals sometimes lose their masks as well. In order to prevent flies from bothering the rest of the animal, I use fly spray or fly wipe. It isn't easy to keep a dog with arthritis - The butt she wants to keep clean is out of reach. The anal maggots she gets from her ear are a serious and life-threatening issue- Her rear end is covered in SWAT to keep flies at bay.

Keeping flies off my dog and assisting in healing of sores is a great feature of this product
5/5

We have always had a problem with flies creating problems for our husky's ears during the summer months. There have been many attempts to try and keep the flies away and not to get sores on her legs. This one caught my eye and we decided to give it a try after reading several good reviews. We found the price to be very good. I think this is a great product which helps keep the flies off of Before using this product, she had previously experienced sores, and this helped to aid her in healing. If you have a problem with flies bothering your pets, this product would be a great option. The container provides us with a lot of products for a long time, and we did not need a lot at a time. In case we run out of this product, we will certainly buy more.

It has saved my life! The flies began biting a donkey and her foal after quick rescue - after only minutes they were swarming the pair however, there was no relief from them It is especially difficult for the mama
5/5

Four black blood spots on each leg and one on each side of In a hurry, I went to the local feed store to buy I began to feel better for a couple of hours, but then the problem returned. After this, I received another Farnam spray that states it will last for 17 days and be weather proof. There is no significant difference between the two. Finally I ordered Swat, and I noticed that the flies were leaving when I applied it around her existing wounds. From the mid point to the hoof edge, I applied a thin layer of anti-fungal medication (warmed and rubbed between gloved palms). A couple of days later, there were no more flies to be seen and the wounds themselves seemed to be healing much more effectively. I love it! Mama donkey was having a terrible time due to the relentless Tennessee insect population, and I was so pleased to find a product that allowed her to get some relief. My order for another jar is being processed.

You can trust SWAT to do its job! The product was delivered on time or before schedule, and it was packaged securely
5/5

I am very pleased with the product. It does what it says it will. It is a contact-based treatment. After initial application to the animal, very little additional treatment is necessary. After applying the ointment for the first time, the flies seemed confused. After attempting to return to the area of attack, they attempt to stick around, but as soon as they notice the magic formula in the ointment on the familiar area to which they returned, they begin to disperse away. I was able to get my dog to work within seconds to under two minutes. She now can enjoy her ears and hang out area without having to worry about bugs. A noticeable improvement has taken place in the healing of the ears and the growth of new hair. A long time ago I would have liked to have found this product. I am happy with my Should the need arise, I may consider buying again.

We are not prescribing this medicine to heal
5/5

The fact is they warn you not to touch the wound since it is not a healing balm. This device is used to repel flies (with The "Goo" is too gooey for me to avoid touching the wound. I can't avoid touching this product! Furthermore, it does not heal, however, keeping the flies off the wound is 1/2 the battle to healing it! Also, I infused herbals into the oils I use. Beeswax is made of beeswax, healing carrier oils are many, and I use healing carrier To use it, I apply the real Healing Balm over the entire open area, let it sit overnight, then wash with soap and water Make sure to cover the entire area with this thick and gooey glue. I simply will note that flies can't return to my boys and eat lunch on their That's it. In the event. If you need me, I can keep fly's aaa Hh TY it was just me that.

I use it to keep ear gnats away
5/5

When you have irritated skin, this is an excellent way to keep bugs off of it until it gains immunity. Additionally, it is the only thing we have found to keep those awful biting ear gnats at bay! My thumb smeared with SWAT is rubbed across the hairs inside the horse's ears (quickly) and cupped behind the horse's ear. It won't take much for the gnats to stop annoying their ears for a couple of days if they move quickly.

Defend your horses from lice with these repellents and ointments
5/5

The SWAT system has served me well for many years, and it remains the best feature. It is able to completely protect your body from bugs and heal Although the ointment stays on horses for days, the smell is not too strong. It is easy to apply and wash off, but the scent is not very strong either. The spray can be used inside ears, around eyes, under the chin, on the belly, and anywhere else you want! We are grateful for the availability of this product.
