This was a project that I took on last year starting in April and finishing in My family and I had four horses on a small Historically, flies were a major problem in the horse yard, barn, and naturally found their way into the house as well. Every other day I used a fly spray in the barn, fly strips, and insect spray on the horses. As far as fly predators go, I even tried them. I was unable to get anything to work! I found the battle to be endless and annoying. It was a very good product. I hung only one fly strip this year and it never filled up. I am very happy with this purchase! I used to use at least 20 in the past. There was no shortage of space. Despite the fact that there were still flies, I would estimate that they had decreased 90%. I used to use equitrol but prefer this product because it does not contain an insecticide but rather a hormone that prevents insects (flies) from building up skeletons in the manure, reducing the amount of flies.
