Questions & Answers

When dogs lick it, will it be toxic?

I would think so based on the list of ingredients. This is only used at the worst time of the year for them, and just a bit behind the ears where they can't get to it. For the other parts of my body, I wear an orange vest with insect repellent built in. The program works most of the time, but sometimes the thorns get so bad that they cut right into a dog's ear and cause it The dirt and dust are kept from getting on your ears with this stuff.

What are the benefits of this product for ticks?

Checking for ticks once a week is part of my routine. There are none I have seen. For fleas and flies, I use this, and it works great for the ears, too. Due to the fact that they are commonly bitten by

Is the product suitable for larger pets such as ?

My use is for horses, so I'd like to know if there is a saddle made just for horses. Make sure the product is safe for you by talking to your veterinarian. Is it possible that a rabbit would find it too irritating?

Here's what you need to buy "It's a good system

". It is great to be able to roll on. You don't have to touch the dog or the product to apply it. This roll on is The boxer I have gets destroyed by flies in both the city (less trees, shrubs) and at the cabin (lots of trees, shrubs, and foliage). He will sit in the tail and hind end of his docked dog with 10 flies alone. Using it as tick repellent, I rolled it over his head from his ears, down his spine, and all the way down to the tip of his tail (sort of like applying it to a tick). There were no more flies! There is a pleasant lemon scent to it. It helps to put it in areas he can't lick, so he can't licked. It is definitely a product I will buy again when it is finished. Depending on the type of application, they may last for a period of time. My guess is that it will take at least a full day.

Please roll over On the surface, it sounded like a good idea
3/5

The fact that I was rubbing this over his face was not well received by him. It makes sense that the roller part would feel peculiar to horses because it goes over their bones. I think it would be easier to apply if this had been in gel form or if a sponge had been used. The majority of horses do not like to be sprayed in the face, but this tactic does not help. It is unlikely I will use up the entire bottle, but I must say that it did not cost too much so I am not too disappointed.

I have never come across a more effective fly repellent
5/5

Using this Farnham roll under the eyes, around the ears, and down the middle of my face has been very effective for me. 1988 was a long time ago! It was in the New England, but now we live in Florida so we need a year-round protection plan. Horse spray never stays on for long, but it As a result, I recall using this product a long time ago and loving it. I carried one with me wherever I went. In addition to the legs, I use it every morning on the face and at all times on Lowe. I find it amazing how the foot stomping completely stops. This is so convenient to be able to carry in a roll-on. This is a great product, you should buy it.

It works great! I'm very glad I bought it
5/5

It works like a charm. My dogs are all older than 18 years old, including one Australian shepherd named Bertha. Death breath or old lady dog breath is what she has. Flying over her attracts as many flies as a corpse would. Because we would have to swat her with a fly swatter to relieve her discomfort, I would feel bad. It works SO MUCH better this way. I love that. While she does not like the application, she is a diva at 18 years old, so whatever. She stays away from the flies but they don't bother her, even when she has a stinky little We will certainly buy more when we run out!.

I would like to see better packaging for this product
3/5

Everything seems to be working fine So far, I have applied it around my dog's eyes and nose before each walk, and the grass flies that sometimes latch on to her eyelids have stayed away (mostly). Though she dislikes the smell and application, she does not like the medication. In order to get her to listen, I have to lock her in a headlock while I distract her with treats. I have a major issue with this product in that it arrived without instructions or any information about the product's safety. If I apply it frequently, how long will it take to work? Would it be safe to put it on my dog's skin or even my Do I need to keep an eye out for any signs of adverse reactions?.

It is hard to beat this basic old favorite
5/5

This old standby for keeping flys and mosquitoes out of my horses' and dogs' eyes and ears is still a good one. I prefer to stay away from the newer versions, which contain synthetic pyrethroids, which I don't like to use close to my Since it uses pyrethrins, I feel better about using it, especially on their faces. Although it may not last as long as the synthetics, it is less messy. way to use this is to put it around the bottom of food bowls to keep ants from getting in. It is not always available in tack or farm stores and you can find it at a great price on Amazon.

just the same as anyone else's
5/5

They would ask how easy it is to use, which is kind of funny. The answer, I guess, would depend on whether it's going on a horse or not. The roller works just fine the majority of the time, and it doesn't have much of a Does a better job than any other product I have used at keeping flies away. The price was more affordable than some of the other options on the market. While it isn't the best way to keep the flies off the horses, it does the job as well as anything else.

It works the first time you apply it
5/5

There is a very strong smell in the air. Then I roll the cotton onto the collar and harness of my dog and the brim of my hat as well as some bandanas that are attached to our packs as we hike/canoe So long as there is a strong smell, it works great. In any case, here are some additional details A strong smell emanates from the room. My trusty dog will sleep right next to me in a small enclosed space at night if you do. Make it removable so that bandanas can be worn Moreover, I worry less about toxic effects as it is not directly in contact with my skin or my fur. This note applies The only items I use it on are ones I can easily replace, wash, and are inexpensive. Then again, I wouldn't use this on a synthetic board or expensive.
