I have a gelding who The first time I tried it, it worked well from an application perspective, but I did not see any difference in the My plastic applicator's back handle seemed to have snapped off by the time I tried to apply it again. This is odd since it was tucked in my tack trunk and not moved. The sponge was soaked in the stuff and then applied directly to it. I gave up on it since it made no difference in flies, but I still kept it in my tank trunk with a bit of product in the handle. I found that a few months later, as I was cleaning my tack trunk, the head of a plastic applicator (good quality, by the way) had snapped off like the other end and there was a semi-used pen inside. A circle of melted plastic can also be seen at the bottom of the tack trunk (which is also plastic). I think it is terrifying that it has the ability to melt plastic in such a way. The purchase or use of this product will not be repeated.
I was happy to find that it is now also available in lotion form. The gnats have been very bad on my horse's face and earlobes in the past couple of years, so I've used this product to repel them! Other places offer it for a much lower price. Amazon is about $5 more expensive than the other places I looked.
It really works to keep flies off my horse and lasts for a very long time.
This lotion has been very good to me My horses love it because it is quick and easy to apply. You can apply the latex gloves so easily. I could not find where it had to be reapplied every day, but I did not find where it lasted seven I will purchase it again when necessary and will recommend it.
For decades, I have been using this repellent. The product is very effective, does not leave greasy residue, and is The smell is okay as well!.
It was my first time waiting for 7 hours to see if it works for that long, but it did not. Wearing gloves when applying the product, especially to the face and legs is a must for me.
It is okay for flies to do As my horse was directed, they landed on my horse shortly after I applied it. I poop.
As a result of their refusal to be sprayed, I use this along with this on my horses. Considering it is runny, I'd use a cream like SWAT instead if you want to protect a wound. However, this is wonderful for people who don't like sprays and for horses who hate them.
