Whenever I buy a perch for my bird cages, I wrap it in vet wrap. Because I believe it to be warmer for the bird to stand on than the PVC pipe I am forced to use for perches, I gave it a 5 for warmth. Because the bird keeps chewing the perches up, we use PVC perches because they are slippery. I can't buy it in bulk since this stuff can also be chewed up. Since I need to keep purchasing for as long as I have the parrot, I may want to consider investing in stock in this company.
This one is better than the ones I used to get from Co-op A flexible approach. They are much thicker and exactly what I need for wrapping calf legs. It is certain that more will be ordered. The package was, however, delivered three days past the due date.
