While the horses were clearly visible across the arena, she pointed her ears at them. It has never been an issue for her to be tolerant of people. Her anger with fellow horses made her throw a fit where she had to be stall at the end of the aisle without any other horses, for fear she would kick right through the board. It seems that she's also a bit herd bound, too, so when at work, she'll call out to them. As I have an older (20's) mare who is injury prone, it was impossible to get a boss mare to do the job. I bought mare magic at the recommendation of a good friend. There was a dramatic change in less than 24 hours. Her calls to the other horses are still frequent but not as much as they used to be. It is now possible for her to pee on other horses without pinning her ears. While she's still turned out in her own paddock, she's still able to be stalled next to another horse.
