The total weight of a 40 pound bag of powder is equal to how many cups or gallons? Thanks so much! ?

There is no way for me to The directions said to mix the powder with water, and my orphan learnt to drink directly from a bucket as he got bigger and bigger, and I wasn't concerned with the quantity because when you feed a baby this, you feed as much as necessary to feed him well. You will most likely be able to find out from the manufacturer. Whenever I bought a colt sack, I made sure it was the biggest one available. A variety of products were available that were suitable. It is a good brand, but what matters most to me is that the colt gets the nutrients he needs to grow, not which product makes the most diluted milk. My foal ate a foal=lac pellet as soon as he was able to eat and a pellet that contained milk. Once again all I cared about was having my orphan foal grow up and thrive, helping it grow up safely, so I never even considered what diluted milk you were getting from a 40-pound milk bottle The bag weighs about ten pounds. With increasing size of the colt, the amount of dilution changes.

How old is this? What are its expiration dates? Do you think it will keep for a decent amount ?

My sincerest thanks go out to you for reaching out! A two-year warranty is included with this product After the date of production, the product will have a shelf life of one year. On the bucket, you may find this date.

What is the colostrum content of this product?

As opposed to colostrum, which can only be obtained by freezing milk from actual mare donors, this product is a substitute for mares milk. In most cases, it is intended for foals that have been orphaned or that are nursing a mare that doesn't produce any or enough milk on a long-term basis. Antibodies in the colony are produced by the colony's spleen During passive transmission of immunity, mares produce a rich first milk that protects their foals. The foal's immune system depends on it, but it is only produced by the mare for the first six months of life A twelve-hour period after birth follows. When frozen, it often takes 8 to 10 hours to thaw In addition to the 16 oz quantities per mare, the mare should be kept in a "bank"

Selected User Reviews For PetAg Foal-Lac Powder - Nutritionally Complete Instantized Powdered Milk for Feeding Orphaned or Early Weaned Foals

An excellent item, but the item did not sell on Amazon! I was recommended this product by my equine vet as great
3/5

It is the delivery that is problematic.
As soon as I saw that Amazon had this larger size package, and that Prime Two could be used for this - I bought it the next day. In the end, it ended up going through Ground instead of UPS when it was turned over to UPS. I moved to Arizona from Texas. It is possible to have it delivered in five days. It was too late for me to get any from my vet or its local supplier by the time I realized this. Two-three was all I had left, and that I had already used up A day of working had been spent. In the end, I was forced to switch to a multifunctional computer The feed store carries species brand feed. *Result? Because I have an orphan week There was an old foal with a foal- Her diarrhea began almost immediately after she was born when she switched from one formula to another. A foal suffering from horse diarrhea is not only a total mess (it goes everywhere) but can even die from dehydration if not treated promptly. Our efforts have saved her life. There is still a diaper on her. We are treating a rash type problem. The problem is that we're not happy with the situation. Customer Service was unable to help us, even though the representative was very friendly.
If you could have sent us an e-mail or text telling us that the item wasn't going to be delivered as promised, it Due to the fact that it was Friday afternoon, it was too late for me to travel to wherever I needed to grab more. We are closed for the weekend at the warehouses.
I won't stop being an Amazon customer, but I'm damn mad because I can't get a simple email or an alert because I'm not getting a chance to see what is happening to my foal. This is the only way I can complain since there doesn't seem to be another channel. All my fellow customers reading this, thanks for the time you have spent on it. *UPDATE I was told by my vet that my foal's issue stemmed from the change of feed. Do you know how the Amazon shipment turned out? There was a message on the UPS tracking page stating the delivery was delayed because of Apparently, the driver got into an accident in the process of getting The UPS store 45 minutes away was convenient for picking it up, and it took me half an hour to get there It is about an hour before they close. Honestly, you can't make stuff like this Comedy of errors is brought to a satisfying conclusion. Oh well, we can't fail to do better with the next shipment. Does it have the potential to?.

The vet The solution is approved, and it If you're looking for a product like this, then THE mare's milk replacement is what you're looking for

In addition to the mini-fridge, we also have a microwave The foal of a horse became ill with pneumonia, and he was taken to the hospital Her mother was also unable to nurse her since she had a problem with her teat. It helped her learn how to drink from a bowl since they put her on this. The three months and counting since then have been great for her. Besides adopting an orphaned newborn from the horse kill pen, we also adopted an orphaned toddler. As for drinking from a bowl, I taught her to do it at around 2 1/2 months and she is doing well. Neither of them suffer from digestive issues nor are they energetic or unhappy. It's impossible to describe Foal enough how amazing it is This lac. Instead of the others, choose this one. This is a decision that you will not regret.

It's the seller who's at fault

Deliveries should have been made today since the shipment shipped on Monday. My delivery for today came too late and I didn't get milk replacement for the baby I was supposed to have today. According to the tracking, the label was created on Monday, but they haven't actually done anything with it. The package will be shipped. You shouldn't place an order if you are depending on the advertised delivery dates. It is a good product.
