Approximately seven to eight inches long are our Fatwood sticks. The length of these tubes varies from 5 to 8 inches.
I am not confident either of those answers would be relevant to the technical merits of the wood that is I will take it for what I can get. There are pine trees here. There is also a lot of resin in it. As a rule, fatwood will be collected from the roots of dead trees, but not specifically grown for resin production. In an earlier answer, it was stated that the wood and box were Mexican. Due to the many pine forests found in the central highlands, this may be possible. Nevertheless, if I were to wager, I'd guess that this wood is from the south east of the US, where pine forests are managed and harvested for commercial purposes.

The crate is where I ordered the majority of this product. Instead of the cardboard box I've been using, I thought this would be more appealing. As a result of the broken delivery, the first one I ordered had to be returned. As well as the first, the second arrived damaged. I have decided to just repair this one since it would be such a hassle to have to return it again. It works just fine with the fatwood, however. There could have been more thought put into the crate. In addition, the wood from which the crate is made appears to be somewhat frail. Balsa wood would be a good example. It will not last very long, since it is rather fragile.
It turns out that as soon as it arrived, the crate had been broken. Considering how little it studies, it should be regarded as a decorative item rather than useful. It was a gift that prompted me to choose this item. For your basic needs, you can purchase fatwood in a cardboard box at a lower price.

It's a pretty cool crate and looks much better than your usual old red carton. The crate will be filled as we go along. This is a worthwhile one - You can buy these for a one-time cost, if you want a nicer way to store them. A bonus is that the lid stays tight so the dogs can't get at what they imagine are lots of fun sticks in there to chew on.
The perfect product for anyone who has a wood burner, fireplace, or campfire. As a woodworker, I couldn't even make the box at this price. It is far more visually appealing than the red boxes in the man cave.
It's so beautiful to see the box made of wood. I like the vintage style because it goes well with my wood stove. The firewood I use for starting a fire is properly cured, so I only need to burn one piece of fat wood.
