Fish cannot swim in these holes because they are too large

Fish of lesser size simply swim right through the holes as they are too large. This was purchased to separate my two pregnant balloon mollies from the rest of the mollies and platys, but either the adult fish or adults can easily swim through the holes into the side that my pregnant mollies inhabit.
