The crabs will be able to climb it as it's attached to suction cups or hooks, and it's very easy to attach with zip ties. Making climbing walls and shelves is also possible with this device. Easy to cut with wire snips and look great after being cut. Buying the egg crate light louvers from the hardware store would be a better buy if you would like to cover a large area. In any case, I would purchase this product again if I had a smaller area to cover. I like it because it's more flexible and less brittle than the egg crate. I have used this shelving unit as a shelf in the picture. There is a coconut hut, moss, shells, and a ceramic ornament in this sturdy terrarium. Coco, one of my crabs, claims this space several times a week - she defends it vigorously. In addition, I use a leftover piece to air dry plants and produce that I plan to store for later. As air can flow around and under it, it can be used to dry food without using high tech equipment. You are only limited by your imagination when it comes to using this product. You can think of dozens of uses for it. If you have YouTube access, it's a great resource!.

This is a really great piece it snaps together for a super custom fit. Axolotls come in a 40 gallon tank with a lid made out of them.

The product works well, though a few knobs broke, but overall, when the fittings are positioned in the right spouse side, they all work Using it as a top for my Axolotl aquarium allows me to set up a clip on fan to put it up as a final The construction is sturdy, but you have to make do with what you have. When it's all by itself, it's unreliable. It's better than metal having been there too many times, though Axos need fans or cooling. Let me know if you have a better idea. Works great if you use your imagination! You can do some really cool stuff with them!.

The second two were broken, but as I was going to cut them I did not care. I was lucky because they were broken where I was going to cut, so this was a win-win situation for me.
