It is possible for fish to pass In a nutshell, The grates might not be the worst thing ever, but if they are suctioned to the wall, there is still enough room for fish to swim between the grates and the wall. You can see proof of this in the video. The goal for me was to create a barrier that is used by anemones. The anemones I have in my frag tank are in a chamber I made.
