I used them as dividers in my 55 gallon tank however, but they don't fit in my 12 round tank

This is pretty much just for aquarium dividers

In the beginning I tried something else besides trying to act as a divider in an aquarium, just like many other people (I'm sure). urge people to think twice about investing in it unless they will really need it for that purpose or a similar one. The eggcrate in question is not a standard eggcrate by any means. The smaller cells are thus more rigid, and the width of the cell is thin, which takes away It flexes easily, and a photo shows some hands twisting it in order to show the ease of its flexing. This lid/topper is going to be used over a 40 gallons turtle tank, and it needs to hold 2 pounds of weight on top of it as well. That's not going to happen! Having said that, the product will do EXACTLY what it is advertised to do. Aquaria has a variety of applications that I can see. For fish breeders, especially, they make it easy to give fry a place to retreat that adults cannot reach. The set I have is to set up a grow area for water lettuce in my sump, in an area that would otherwise clog up with water or filter floss. There will be no problem keeping the plants sequestered with these so that they can produce nitrate for export. I did take a star off for that reason. Panels like these are really hard to assemble. A rubber mallet would have assisted, but I nearly used my hand to put together some of the pieces.

Performs the job as expected

My 75 gallon grow out tank is equipped with this. I had to trim this down by a little bit because I had to put 6 pieces together. In my experience, the spacing of the stripes looks decent, and it is a soft material, so trimming it down is straightforward. The container is sturdy enough to keep my 3 inch baby Oscars separate, but I doubt that it could hold an adult. Despite its very strong smell, it's not pleasant to handle. My nose tells me that there are some chemicals smells or that there are mildew/mold smells. The pieces do go together with a little bit of pressure even though they are a bit difficult to push together. It was easy for me to perform this task As for the suction cups, they appear to be of good quality. I find that this divider works well until I can move my fish into their own larger.

It's a great product, I love it

Product is of very high quality. The meat can be cut in any way you wish. Doable in just a few seconds. There is a 3 on my report card An aquarium with a capacity of 5 gallons in which I keep my Betta. The Bettas fight, so I had to split the aquarium in two, and it now I still have a lot more pieces to use in other aquariums in the future as well. Your help is much appreciated!.

In a nutshell, Maintains optimal distance between the two tanks and almost no space between the divider and tank. The divider seems to be very durable and maintains the distance between the tanks well.
