It states on my package whether I should use fresh water or salt water. This plant is my favorite. It is under my hob filter so it runs over it giving it the appearance of water running over it. Real fish also love it. Purchasing this item is very reasonable and will not leave you disappointed.

There are pros. The plants look great and have amazing heights. An anchor keeps the plant solidly in place at the bottom thanks to a heavy white chunk. The fish love them, and they add some brightness to otherwise drab tanks. The cons are The vines arrived intact, except for a detached strand, but a just a bit of hot glue put it back together. As a whole. Plants with stems that grow tall are excellent for tall aquariums, as the fish love to swim around them.

There is something about this plant that I like. It seems to be a common hiding place for my fish. I had to secure the plants better because the plants tend to fall out of the base so easily.
