Why are you doing that in the first place? You don't have to be really worried about fish being fragile! Just keep them out of reach of children. The plants in an axolotl tank shouldn't be tied to rocks with cotton string, so I needed something to weigh them down. Animals with these skins absorb everything they come in contact with. Do you lead? I don't know. That's not what I want.

In my case, one of my pedestals for writing instruments was insufficiently weighted so that it would remain upright when a medium-weight writing instrument was placed in it. This added weight gave the pedestal more than enough weight to hold any of my writing pens as they stayed upright.
