2) Do they contain artificial java moss or are they real? Each piece of 4"by 2" is two inches by four inches. Can you really fit 5" of java moss on the table?
The pieces are 4 by 2 and come in five pieces. For a fish tank, this mesh is 5 inches of top quality stainless steel. Moss of any type can be tied to it with ease. Plants are not included in this article.
Are the anchors included in the net heavy enough to hold down carpeting plants or should I get additional anchors?
This is quite heavy for its size. I used moss and some netting with it and it worked great. However, if you have a large number of floating plants tied to it, they might be able to lift the container.
Can you tell me if the mesh is What is the flexibility of this material? Can it be bent into any shape and still hold it? Does it have a soft, limp texture?
This material is very rigid, yet it can be easily bent. Without any issue, it will be able to keep its shape. Only a few issues I have with the mesh are its very sharp edges. There is not enough force to cut you, but a fish would almost certainly be damaged. By sanding or filing them down, this issue can be easily dealt with.
Does the mesh have a fine or coarse texture? If you are able to give a numerical answer, then that would be great, if not, can you give me an answer in terms of things like peas, silica gel beads, etc. ?
These beads are made of silicon. I think it's fine. Kind of like the screen of your window at home

Using tank carpet to anchor a tank is a great idea! I have buried the edges under gravel or substrate, and my fish haven't been harmed by the edges if they are buried under the good growth.

They are going to be used to create a java moss rug. It is hoped that this will work. As far as the mesh itself was concerned, it was This material sinks and can be cut with ease. I had just about enough of what I needed, but not much more.

You can use this to seal up the ends of moss walls

Why do you need to know the suction power in this review? As part of my moss wall, I used these mesh sheets to seal the end joints With cable ties, I then fastened the ties on. I do this in order to prevent my fish from getting stuck between layers of moss.

They are nice metal with holes that are not too big or too small

I did not use them for their intended purpose, but it's a nice metal. While the edges are a bit sharp, I do not keep it in a place where the fish can reach.

Supplying aquariums with aquatic plants

A pair of suction pads was provided to attach the product to the glass. The product arrived as described. It was just what I needed to propagate some subwassertang in my aquarium. I was very pleased with how everything turned out.

My plants stayed in place with this exactly what I needed. With my black ghost knife that likes to rearrange my plants at night, it works great. They have been kept in place as a result of these. There have been no issues with the edges. Although they are sharp, they are covered up easily by.

I used these to anchor my mosses and they worked great! It is easy to cut to size if you need the screens to be a certain size

This is a very sturdy product, but it is not what I wanted. Great for what it's made for, but not great for what it was designed for.
