Questions & Answers
It'd be big enough, but crawling on your hands and knees over the metal ribbing hurts, and the tunnel's stitching isn't strong enough to withstand rough play. My 8-month-old puppy, on the other hand, can safely play in it on occasion.
It can expand to 18 feet, but 12 feet would suffice. However, at 12 feet, you'd have to figure out how to safely seal or secure the tunnel.
Hello, we currently only offer one size. The tunnel will fit most dogs, but the size of the dog will be determined by its size.

It is, in fact, part of the package. It has an 8-piece set. 10 anti- 7" stakes with rust zinc plating that go through metal grommet tabs around the tunnel's base.

This tunnel is one of my favorites. My 150-pound Great Dane fits without having to do the full army crawl.
In terms of material, this isn't a true agility tunnel, but I knew that when I bought it. I needed a starter tunnel for my two dogs, as well as something to keep them occupied during the long, cold, and wet winters. That's where this tunnel comes in handy! We put it up down our hall and let the dogs run through it. They are having a great time! Because I'm not using or leaving the tunnel outside, it should last me longer. It folds up easily, and I like that it comes with a storage bag. It's just hung in the hall closet for now.
I must have misread the length because this is closer to 12' than the 6' I was expecting. It is a favorite of mine, and my Whippets can easily fly through it. br>br>Because it's lighter than I anticipated, I'm not sure how long it'll last. br>br>Update: br>The quality of the product is dreadful! "Oh, they must be really rough with it," I thought as I read the reviews, "but that won't happen to me because I'll only use it inside. " " OH MY GOD, WAS I WRONG! After three days of indoor use by my dogs, I got down on their level and noticed that the inside was falling apart at the seams. Even though I'm not a seamstress, I could tell that the stitching job was far too loose and that the stitch used was not the best. br>br>After a week, the wire frame in the end poked a hole in the product, making it too dangerous for my pets to use. DONT BUY. If you do, keep an eye on the product every day to see if the wire framing has come loose. This is not a product that should be available on Amazon.
This is a well-built tunnel. It's a big hit with my dog. However, one unfortunate event occurred. He was going around in circles at top speed when his paw got caught. We were using it in the hallway of our apartment, which was not secured, and he slipped, causing his foot to become trapped beneath one of the metal rings. As a result, we've tied it to something or are holding it by both ends. It was heartbreaking to see him having so much fun only to be injured, so take note.
This tunnel was purchased to begin training my four-month-old Australian Shepherd in agility. It's perfect for him. Due to a hapless grasshopper who had found his way into the tunnel, his first trip through came to an abrupt halt. Gonzales has been speeding through the tunnel since then, though he occasionally prefers to jump on top of it and collapse it. It has lasted about a month outside, but I know it will last longer if I take better care of it and bring it inside when not in use. I recommend it as a training tool as well as a lot of fun for my Aussie puppy because it's long enough to set up one or two curves. It's a good one. made of a plastic-like material that looks exactly like the picture- line. This is a fantastic purchase.
I've probably bought 6 of these, and the reason for my 3 star rating is that the metal comes through the ends VERY EASILY, and I have to discard it after a short time for fear of my dogs being harmed. This might not happen if the material were a little thicker.
After three years, I'm finally changing this. It's been exposed to the elements for over a year and is finally giving in to the elements. dogs. 1. br>br> For the price, it's a great way to practice at home. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The interior isn't as dark as official tunnels. This is a good way to get puppies started, but switching to a competition tunnel will be a big change. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. It's not really adjustable in length because the fabric collapses to the interior, making it appear tighter. You won't be able to make a very short tunnel with this. 4. br>br> It's extremely light and simple to transport - It can be stored in a closet, garage, or shed with ease. 5. br>br> It moves with the wind because it is so light. If you don't have tunnel bags, sandbags from your pop-up tent, filled milk or 2L bottles can be used to help stabilize it. 6. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> This is a good option if you can't afford a competition tunnel or want a portable option. If you train frequently and want to leave it outside in the elements, a real competition tunnel is a good investment.
It is a big hit with our dogs. They chase each other down the tunnel, especially when there's a ball involved. The big puppy eventually became overly enthusiastic and tore the thin nylon, resulting in a ventilation hole. After a few months of heavy use, the metal wire became exposed with an open end due to a rip along the edge. I now nail it in the ground to prevent injuries until the new tunnel arrives, thanks to this new accidental design. Because our dog jumps over it, we now use it as a "jumping" device. Because the tunnel is flexible and moves with the dog, it can be a lot of fun for both the dog and the audience. This is something I strongly suggest. It is well worth the money for the price and use because it provides numerous exercise opportunities.
