I have a one-year-old GSD, and the bite will be felt for the next week through my arm. It is preferable for the four-person team. The time frame is six months.
It works for all dogs; the only flaw is the length, which only extends to the elbow, resulting in numerous close calls.

My full- This bite sleeve is ideal for a large, powerful German Shepherd. My teen daughters and wife also work with him, and the sleeve protects their arms. It was well worth the investment!.
I ordered this a few weeks ago and have only recently begun to use it with my 13-month-old German Sheppard, who bites quite hard for his age, and I have not experienced any discomfort while wearing it. Several tooth holes have punctured the main material, as I've noticed. It's too early to tell how long this sleeve will last.
This is an incredible deal. Excellent long-term performance. Excellent defense.

This is what I use for my 1-year-old Dutch shepherd, and it's worked out great! I'd say it's good for up to an "intermediate" bite level.
As an intermediate sleeve for my Malinois, I'm using this. He's 18 months old and hasn't quite mastered the bite. So far, the sleeve has done its job.
Before putting it on, the inside handle had broken. It's difficult to put on because it's so small. Perhaps a pair of small arms is required.
It works well and is well constructed. It's well worth purchasing!.
