They are pre-assembled and simply need to be pushed onto the pole. My shoes were a good fit for me.

How much do these poles measure in width?

The poles themselves are about 2" in diameter.

Are the stakes for the poles connected to any kind of springs so that they give/move when the dog hits them?

The light weight plastic pole has no springs, but the stakes that go into the ground provide flexibility. As a result, they yield and sway.

Good buy! I used to have a PVC weave pole set that I absolutely despised

It took a long time to put together because of the interlocking pipes. This is an excellent set. br>br> All you need is a set of sturdy, individual hard plastic poles, each with a stake at the bottom. So all you have to do now is drive the stake and pole into the ground. It is simple to get rid of. Setup is a breeze. To keep everything together, it comes with a zip storage bag. br>br>It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but after seeing it, I believe it is well worth the money, and I would strongly recommend it. br>br>I like that you can control the spacing, which can be wider as the dog learns the weave and then tighter as the pip progresses. br>br>Excellent purchase!.

THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE IS TO BE THROWN AWAY! THIS PRODUCT IS CRAP; POLES CAN BE MADE FOR A LOT LESS MONEY, AND THE BAG IS ESSENTIALLY MADE OF PAPER! br>br>I'm a professional dog trainer, and this item came in a blue bag to carry it in, which was the main reason I chose it: it was easy to transport, but the bag ripped before I could get it to the park 5 blocks away

On the way back, I had to carry it while also handling my dog, and to my surprise, the other side also fell out. I've had to sit and waste my time stitching this bag, which is still barely holding together due to the fact that it's essentially made of paper. br>br>I'd love to hear from this company, but I doubt they'll be interested enough, so I'll probably just return everything while I still have the chance. I wish there was a way for me to give ZERO STARS.

Great! These are much better than the weave poles that were "attached" with plastic pieces between poles (but never stayed together)

They can be placed closer together or further apart, and they will not topple over when my dog weaves her way through them. I'll buy from them again if I ever need anything else.

These are a fantastic option for a quick set up

I like how light they are, and the spikes are sturdy enough to keep them in place. The pipe itself is light, making them easy to pack and transport, but if you have a real speed demon on the weaves who pushes the poles out of the way as much as they move around them, this may not be the best option. They perform admirably for us.

These are fantastic. Solid. Suitable for both large and small dogs. Included is a rope with a distance marker. I would strongly suggest it. In addition, there is a storage bag.

Weave poles that are both beautiful and affordable

Weave poles that are strong and of good quality. Spikes are strong and sharp, making them simple to install in the ground. For transport and storage, it came in a convenient carry bag. A marked rope was also included, making it easy to position the weave poles at the proper distances. My purchase was a great success.
