This sleeve was purchased to help my BM puppy transition from a puppy tug to a full bite, and it worked well for a few months. He is now 9 months old and weighs 66 pounds, so the sleeve is no longer adequate protection. My decoy and I both got major bruises on our arms the last couple of times we tried to use it. From a 5-star rating, it performed admirably. 8 months.
Inside the sleeve, there is no actual tag. It's substantial and well-made. It is extremely popular with my adult German Shepherd. Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you.

He'll open wide enough to take a full bite, but he'd rather grab the edges. It's all part of the learning process. He has a lot of fun with it. Some people are concerned that this will teach the dog to bite them. Unless the dog has suffered a serious head injury, he will not be able to distinguish between your arm and your arm with a bit sleeve. Our dog immediately recognizes that it's time to play when I pick up the sleeve, which appears to be fairly strong and durable. Inside the sleeve, you can't feel his teeth because there's extra padding. The outer material has signs of wear, but the sleeve has not weakened.
This is a great alternative for our giant malamute/shepherd mix, who used to tear through our winter Carhart coats from his bite, and it's also a great training tool. It's so cozy and enjoyable.
This item isn't long lasting. My 70 pound hound dog mix, who isn't even a biter, couldn't stand it for more than a day. Also, he doesn't provide much protection because biting him still hurts. He now refuses to use it if someone is wearing it because he is afraid of injuring someone. So we're just going to hand it over to him to shred.
This is an excellent product that my Dutch Shepherd enjoys attacking and playing with. When we tell her about it, she gets all worked up. It is extremely tough and can withstand her massive bite; however, you must be cautious if the dog attempts to bite or attack you because they can grab your arm (through the sleeve). If you don't have your arm in the right position, you won't be able to do it. But it's not all bad; you're still protected. I'd buy it again to assist in the training of my dogs on my roof!.
Bite work is a favorite pastime of my 18-month-old daughter, who weighs 70 pounds. It has performed admirably thus far. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't breathe well and gets hot quickly, but this isn't enough to detract from the overall rating. My Dutchy enjoys it because it keeps the user safe.
He'll continue to play/train as long as we have the energy. Excellent quality and a good price. This is the second one we've bought in the last two years, and we use it on a weekly basis. I would strongly advise! Check out @monstermoe_canecorso for more information on him and the sleeve.
Great bite sleeve for my German Shepard puppy. I don't know how long it will last until my puppy grows bigger and puts it to use. I can't wait. However, based on the looks and craftsmanship, I would buy it again.
I prefer the inside handle for a secure grip, and the outside handle for pulling leverage. My Belgian Tervuren enjoys tugging at this new toy.
