I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative—the ones I got are heavy, well-made, and can withstand the jaw pressure of my Rottweiler. These would be difficult to squeak if you have a small dog (I can't do it with my hands), but it would be a fun challenge for him. They're also adorably adorable. This purchase was a good buy.
My golden retriever, who is 1 year old. The first part of the toy (which covers the tennis ball) was completely destroyed in less than 5 minutes by a 5-year-old. It's made of the most flimsy material known to man. Alternatively, you can purchase a standard tennis ball.
This is for my mother's doxie, which I purchased. Squeaky balls are one of her favorite things to chew on. Most balls, unfortunately, aren't long enough for her. The last few I've purchased have either not lasted a day or the squeakers have fallen out (posing a choking hazard). She really went all out with this ball, and it's still going strong. She developed a sore jaw as a result of her efforts:.
My dogs are heavy chewers, and these have outlasted everything else I've tried so far. Anything I've found, at least, they want to play with. The Bill is kept interested by its soft exterior and loud squeak. Its durability comes from the hard spikey ball inside. It can withstand rough and tumble play as well as a great game of fetch outside. I strongly suggest it for both large and small groups. Especially if you have both, because the toy can be enjoyed equally by both.
My dog chewed on the squeaker for about 30 seconds before it stopped working. He's fallen asleep chewing it after 10 minutes, but it's falling apart.
It's a nice little toy, but our dog doesn't play with it much because it's difficult for her to squeak, and she's a 85-pound dog with powerful jaws. It's extremely difficult for me to squeak it, and it's impossible for Rosie to squeak it.
These toys are incredibly cute and adorable. My dog was lining them up and couldn't decide which one to play with when I gave him the four pack. Unfortunately, he ruined one within an hour and was already ripping the ball apart. I wasn't surprised because my dog destroys every toy he gets, but for the price, I'd recommend trying them out because they're very cute!.
These plush, chewy outside toys are a hit with my dog. She ripped the plush to shreds in a matter of minutes- no big. That's exactly why they were created! She then quickly destroyed the tennis ball inside by cracking it, chewing the pieces, and inadvertently ingesting far more of the tennis ball fabric outside than is generally considered safe (tennis ball fluff can be extremely dangerous and difficult on your dog's GI system). Overall, the interior tennis ball isn't nearly strong enough for a toy designed for destructive dogs.
