In most cases, veterinarians are able to purchase and use veterinary medicine without a prescription. Considering I can buy dewormer, heart medications, and antifungals without a prescription from the big box pet stores, I expect this to be the same for this. There may be a personal belief on your vet's part that this product should not be available over the counter, but I found it was, and it worked well

Excellent value for the money. You are getting a good deal here. It is much less expensive than a veterinarian visit. As the next check revealed no more worms, it clearly works. This purchase has made me extremely happy. Should the need arise in the future, I will defiantly buy again.
