Questions & Answers

On the bag of the product, there is a mention of 1% iodine. The following is what I would like to convert to mcgs. Can I buy dog food for feeding my pets?

According to the label, 0 is the answer. There is no iodine in 1% of it. It is 1% of whatever you give, so, for instance, if you give 1/4t of the product and assume 1/4t weighs 1 gram (you can weigh it yourself and switch out a gram for however much you weigh, but I think that it is close enough The label of another kelp product lists 1/4t weighing 1 gram), multiply 1g (aka 1 gram) You get 1% if you are in the top 5% The mass is 001 grams. The mcg is calculated by multiplying grams times 1,000,000, so one gram of product contains 1,000 mcg of iodine (also known as UV). The formula is as follows if you only give 1 tsp but you have a large dog. You multiply by 4 and get 4,000 ug dose of iodine, or chunk into the formula whatever product weight you use One gram of product multiplied by A 33lb dog should be given 220 ug of iodine per day. If a dog is 001 x 1,000,000 or ug of iodine, the National Academy of Science or Research Council recommends this. According to AAFCO guidelines, the maximum daily intake is 250 ug The amount of vitamin D per 1000 calories in food is 2750 ug. The more iodine your dog is being fed, the better. If you are feeding your dog industrial food (rather than homemade), you should check how much he You'll want to read the AAFCO guidelines if you are feeding homemade food (like I am). Search for AAFCO Nutritional guidelines for dogs PDF and you will be able to download it for free. For people without a science or math background, the tables of nutrients list them differently in different ways so that they can find the one that is easiest for them to read. I hope this helps you and I wish I had Now others may benefit from this as well

In case my dog does not like it, can I get a refund?

A refund was granted to me after I noticed that the product contained materials I had never seen before. It is hard to say whether I dislike it or not. It seems to be quite popular with dogs.

Who or what is the creator of ?

It is made from dried seaweed

Dogs can benefit greatly from this fantastic supplement because it has so many great I have been using it for years and find it to be very useful! This same brand of organic ocean kelp has been in our supply for years, but we had been purchasing it from a local organic pet store in 8-oz It is definitely the way to go to purchase this large 5 pound bag! There are so many reasons why kep is good for dogs
5/5

Originally, we bought it to clean the teeth of our dogs. Considering that we buy it at a local pet store, Mud Bay, we asked if they had it in the teeth cleaning section of the store. Because they had heard great things about it, they highly recommended it to keep the teeth of our dogs clean. They can also freshen their breath with it. Their breath doesn't smell fishy after eating it, but it smells a bit fishy to them before they eat Their favorite part about it is the taste! The food which I add water, pumpkin, and other items to is sprinkled on top of their food at breakfast time, and it sticks beautifully since it has a lot of liquid in it. In addition to providing your dog with kelp, you can also give him the following benefits A lack of iodine is often a contributing factor to thyroid problems in humans and dogs. Kelp is known for being iodine rich. The medical treatment of thyroid problems has long been based on the use of iodine. A dog with a good metabolism will be easier to keep at a healthy weight and thus have a great metabolism. If an infestation occurs on a dog, research has shown that it's possible to significantly reduce the number of fleas on it. Kelp is another flea repellent we use, but we also recognize that uses topical flea treatments keep them away as well. In addition to supporting many other bodily functions in your dog, Keop also helps your pet relax. By strengthening the blood, it helps the heart to pump more efficiently as it cleanses the digestive system and fortifies the blood (due to iron content) in the body. To help older dogs stay healthy, it strengthens their immune systems and protects them against a range of illnesses. Dogs who are given kelp tend to heal faster because the amino acids in the plant help in tissue repair. It's actually true that kelp can help you live longer and help your dog live longer, so start supplementing your dog with this kelp and find a good kelp for humans so you can take it too! The above are only a few of the many benefits, but there are many more that I didn't even scratch the surface of. I would highly recommend giving our dogs this supplement, and I feel very good about it! The ingredient list of this product is neat and short, containing only The dried organic form of The food is free of any additives. ethically and sustainably harvested from the remote regions of Northern Iceland. In the picture, you can get a sense of how the kelp looks (I tried my best), and the second picture shows 6 of our 7 dogs who enjoy eating it and benefit from it well. Finally, here is Kaya. Has to include her <3 And the last picture is the kelp they sprinkled on their food dishes.

My dog was able to have a healthy stomach with this product
5/5

When I purchased this item to help with my dog's teeth, I noticed only a subtle improvement in that area. However, one of my dogs, who has a very acidic stomach and used to vomit several times a week when she was hungry The 30 to 48 hour mark did not vomit bile while on this product for several months. She took it without experiencing any nausea or Later on in the week she vomited bile twice while I was on a road trip and I forgot this product. Her stomach pH seems to be improved as a result of it. I have been packing kelp for her road trips ever since returning home (plus more road trips where I forgot to do this) and she hasn't vomited a single time. She claims it helps neutralize the stomach acid, and I'm not sure what it does, but it does seem to work.

Our dog was helped by the removal of an eye mole! One of our dog's eyelids was swollen with a mole that was growing right under the lid
5/5

After we took him to the vet, we asked about the cost of the surgery because the cyst had grown so large in such a short period of time that he was clearly suffering from it. Taurine is one of the best sources for your body! Our dog began shrinking his large mole after adding kelp to his food each day after about a week of doing so! In 3 weeks it was literally gone! At first we couldn't believe it, but it was gone after only 3 weeks! The only change we made to his diet had to have helped remove the mole since we had made no other dietary changes. As I have been unemployed for over five months, it has been too expensive to buy kelp for quite a while. We ran out of kelp more than The cyst that is growing on his tail is now growing at the base. Our pharmacy is ordering more today so that we can see if we have to take him in for removal of the cyst. As soon as I know more, I will let you know.

It is a good idea to purchase this
5/5

The dogs love it. So glad I got it for them. The hair on our 8 year old boxer has been falling out like crazy for the last few months. It may be a case of seasonal canine flank alopecia or possibly low thyroid levels causing the hair loss, according to the vet. Having done so much research, I tried melatonin supplements for hair loss (Not the sleepy kind) since they did not really help with the hair loss issue. It appealed to me so I gave it a shot. The first time I gave him a teaspoon of oil on his 1 cup of food twice a day was just 4 days ago, and already I noticed a difference in the texture of his coat, and I hope his hair will grow back in those spots soon. The 2 year old shepherd lab mix I have started to have stinky breath, so I gave it to her too, just to see if it It will probably take me a week or two to post an update. Neither one of them can get enough of Please note You should not take a big whiff of it when you open the bag. I don't like the smell of it. I am joking.

Dogs eat it on their food willingly because it keeps their teeth clean
4/5

It does indeed help keep their teeth clean and the dogs don't seem to mind it in their food. A stain that is already present will not be removed by this method. I do not know if there is any correlation, but my cattle dog developed a bladder infection which led to a bladder stone two weeks after I started using it, so I am very wary about using it the rest of my life. The latest update is provided below. I find that a small dose (1/8 tsp), every other day is the most beneficial. It will result in an infection of the bladder if there are any more. These are the limits of what their bodies can process in a day. There was also a link in an article I read suggesting it messes with their thyroid production, so you have to use it As a result, I believe it is safe to use in such small doses, but you must be very careful about how you administer it. Consider the pros and cons of each option and do your own research It has drawbacks.
