I finally found a toothbrush that my 4lb Chihuahua can use! The following is a tip from a My dog hates getting his teeth brushed, so I always make sure to wait until he is sleepy before brushing off his teeth. When your dog is hyper and running around, giving him a walk isn't a good idea. Please do not chase them or turn it into a game with your toothbrush! No matter how long it takes, you'll get all the teeth in the end. The best way to prevent your dog from having a bad experience is to ease them into it gradually. You should wet the toothbrush before putting toothpaste on it so the toothpaste will be gentler on the gums. Be careful not to smear the toothpaste onto the gums, since gums can bleed.

It makes sense that with such a small animal, a brush with all those bristles won't be needed, so this brush has the perfect number of bristles! The same item has been bought three times. It is my habit to brush the teeth of my 6 pound pomeranian puppy twice daily. As you can see, the toothbrush is proportional to the size of his mouth, and it is very easy to use. The lens is slightly angled, so that's a plus. This one is the one I will keep buying since I replace his brushes every few months.

As I review the thumb and finger gloves, I have some questions and concerns. As compared to a brush, this is much more comfortable for my dogs. In terms of plaque, I can actually reach their back teeth, which are usually the worst. The fit is good and the material is good. There appears to be some heavy cotton thread woven into the cloth. The gloves might be a little tight for people with large hands. A few more may be on the way. This looks like a great deal. I hope Amazon will offer it for some time.
