thick. I feed them a quarter cup of dry food. 1/4 of a can of Poodle Loaf should be added to it. I've tried others, and they eat it up. They dislike it because of their delicate digestive system.
My poodle is extremely picky when it comes to food. This is the only dog food I can get him to eat, and even then, he has his days where he refuses to eat it. He will, however, eat it in the majority of cases. I understand it's food for him, as our chicken or beef diet isn't particularly nutritious, but it's exactly what he wants. It's been 11 years!.
The product is fine, but the delivery is a disaster. When I order something from Amazon, I expect it to arrive at my doorstep. That's their motto, isn't it? It was instead sent to a "Locker," as they called it. " It turned out that this was the street mailbox for all of the units. It wasn't in our personal mailbox, but in the overflow box. I'm speaking for my 5 pound poodle, who adores it! The majority of cans have a 6-inch diameter. Because she can't eat that much at once, it spoils after 8 oz. So I wrap it tightly, but once it's opened and wrapped in saran wrap, she doesn't like it. She eats the entire 3 oz can of Roayl Canin Breed, which is much more cost-effective and waste-free in the long run.
I particularly like the pate form, which is ideal for my finicky poodle mix. He licks the bowl clean after each meal, so the flavor must be fantastic. Neither his hair nor his skin has ever been softer.

After eating this product, my dog developed diarrhea and vomiting, and she drank an excessive amount of water. She's fine now that she's not taking it. She doesn't seem to mind the Royal Canin poodle dry food.
My dog isn't particular about what she eats. But she turned away from her bowl after smelling this product. It does not smell bad in my opinion. She simply refused to eat canned dog food. This review is solely based on the fact that MY dog refused to eat it. It's possible that your poodle will enjoy it. It's simply too costly to take the risk.
