Sally, my Pomeranian, is an older puppy who was rescued. She had been out in the elements and starved for a long time when I rescued her in May, and all of her bones could be felt and seen. It's easier for me to tear off the top and then use scissors to cut down one side. You'll be able to remove all of the food this way. At the very least, the packaging is bug-proof and keeps the food fresh. br>br>Because my big dog would eat the entire box if left alone, I squeeze out one of these packets on top of his regular kibble every time, and he seems to enjoy it.

Because the cans couldn't be ordered and we were in a hurry, we bought these. We have a rat terrier puppy that weighs 8 pounds and a mini schnauzer that weighs 25 pounds. They eat about a pouch of it every day, mixed in with their kibble and a little fresh chicken. This brings the total cost of the 24 pouch packs to $7. $8 on Amazon) will last almost a month (or $2 per week), which is an incredible value. A much larger dog, on the other hand, would have difficulty with the portion sizes. However, I'm sure they'd be ideal for travel because the pouches are so easy to pack, stack, and store, and they're less work than a can. Plus, we don't have to keep a large can of half-finished dog food in the fridge for days until they finish it, which is convenient; I also like how they can stand on their own, so we make a little row in our pantry. They adore it in terms of flavor. br>br> Unlike most canned foods, which have a tendency to congeal and become cold, hard, or jelly-like, this one does not. This stuff has gravy and little flakes/chunks in it, which they like, and the bonus is that each pouch is served at room temperature every time because there isn't enough to store (like a large can). br>br>The ONE thing that bothers me is the waste; I wish they had used a more environmentally friendly packaging for this, such as recycled plastic or one of the newer fibers that act like plastic but don't damage the environment. Metal cans are better because they are easier to make and recycle.

She spit out everything I gave her, even the ones that were said to be tasty. I had some on hand and noticed how much she liked them, so every morning I crush all of her pills and mix them into a package of this. I spoon feed it to her, but she licks the bowl after I leave. I continue to reorder, and she continues to delight. It's a win-win situation in this case. win!.

It's incredibly simple to store and use this item. There aren't any cans to worry about. Twice a day, we mix one of these packets into a full cup of dry food for our indoor beagle. Just a heads up. Because they seem to gobble up this wet food without examining what else might be in there, it's easier to conceal any pills.

This is definitely for much smaller dogs than the ones I have (my dogs are a mix of 1/2 Westie, 1/4 Chihuahua, and 1/4 Maltese, so they're considered small). ) The packages are insufficient to meet their needs. Fortunately, in addition to their meat meals from these packages, I have a small bowl of dry food for them. As a result, I find it to be useful. However, the Beef entries in these purchased boxes of dog meal pouches do not go over well with them. They eventually eat them, but it takes a while for them to do so. As a result, I'm giving them a 50% rating. Is it likely that I'll purchase them again? Yes, but only if the chicken meals are available as an option for a full box of the product.
